I have played over 10 games and I haven't been fouled once by the pc. Not one free kick, or any card on the computer... It is bizarre. Wanting a refund.

At 2:55, here's a good example of the awful CPU defending from midfield on back. This is on Superstar.

Only real hiccup I see is the CM not coming to help out, and just standing around in no man's land. Everyone else was on a man.

What do you mean "only real hiccup"? This "hiccup" led to a goal and it happens all the time in this game.
Do you think all the players should stay at their man leaving an easy shot? Someone had to run and cover.
I have a feeling that some members here have started watching football like a couple of years ago and they don't have any deep knowledge of the sport.

The issue and what I think Dub is getting at (correct me if I'm wrong Dub, I know you will ) is that the Spurs LB #3 Danny Rose doesn't step up and just watches Benteke run by him until his shoulders are past him. At that point it's too late as Benteke's already into his shooting motion.

A great individual goal UNTIL you watch how the CPU allowed it. I believe TTB plays on Superstar or Top Player too.

Let's try to avoid the "don't know real soccer" side tangents. Keep it on the merits of what you're seeing and avoid pre-judging others and their backgrounds.

So hiccups don't happen in real games? People don't get caught ball-watching or lacking concentration? Yes, the CPU AI should've done better, but it's one play. I play all the time and don't see things pop up like that too often. I can live with it happening sporadically.

Played 20 minute game vs Groningen. I had 6 fouls to their 5. Scored off a fk (for the first time) won 2-0. Hell of a game. CPU missed 2 shots inside the box.

The problem with defending is more than a hiccup for sure. PES 2016 defensive AI has issues just like FIFA 15's, and it's leading to easy goals.

The defensive AI is really, really bad at times.

Forgive me, but comparing the AI in PES to FIFA 15 is a stretch.

You guys. It is so obviously human vs human. I can tell this by just watching, then I listened and right at the start for the video he says "we are playing -1 game speed" As in two people. As for that play with my fluid formation settings the center mid would have been behind the ball at that point. As for Rose not coming in that is an AI error, whether on purpose or not I can't tell. This maybe because the width of the team is set high in the settings or just an AI error. The covering is all the human players fault and cannot be attributed to the AI at ALL. The center mid coming back is because the initial default setting even with fluid formations on are not that good. Either The formation is not setup to have the center mid come back or in tactics they are set to few on defense so the mids don't come back. It is all what you tell the AI to do. Again, please come to my thread and watch my videos and give feedback on those. These "youtubers" are good but not playing the sim style many of us are looking for! I know we like being critical but with all these games we are just trying to rework them to fit with how we want to play. No reason to get overly angry at each other. Alot does come down to opinion. But again that is what I am seeing in that video.

I don't think so. It's not quite as bad but has some of the same issues that leads to similar results - easy goals. It's gotta be one of the main reasons why so many people are complaining that it's so arcade-like.

TrueBrits has been playing against the CPU on Superstar in all of his videos so far this year, so it's definitely against the CPU. He's gearing up to start ML. Saying "we" to describe the team he is controlling is just his way with language. I can't speak on whether he had fluid formations assigned to Tottenham, so maybe that would have helped.
