One thing that I noticed was different is corner kicks, with the trajectory now displaying for how high and low you want to kick them and how much curve. I really like this addition as it brings a new level of realism and diversity of corner kicks into the game.
However, I'm pretty bad at them. Every now and then I might get on the end of one, but that is usually few and far between. I remember back in the day the "Send Up on Set Pieces" option would usually result in a few goals for your centerbacks, but I have yet to see that. Even when I played a 16-team tournament, I saw no defender goals or assists, just forwards and midfielders, even from the CPU.
Now maybe there is no way to fix that on the CPU's end (a bummer) but are there any pointers for how to take corner kicks as a human player? Is it maybe the team (I'm using mostly Peru which has okay but not great heading centerbacks) that is the problem?
Any pointers, tips, suggestions, or help is appreciated!
