Petition for more daytime games in League mode. Can we create a stadium for day only?

Konami have done it again. An oversight so simple, yet so irritating.

When playing in League mode, the option to choose day / night is disabled. The time of day is random, but it most frequently defaults to night. Whilst some don't care about this, I absolutely hate playing in night mode because the game losses a lot of its visual appeal. The shadows are flat and the lighting looks like from a PS2 game.

In contrast the day light is absolutely beautiful and dare I say better then Fifa 17(even with their revered Frostbite engine).

So Konami, why in the world is it possible to choose the time in Exhibition mode, but not in League mode?

I doubt they will patch this, so we need to be pragmatic.
I'm guessing that the only way to have more daytime games is to create a stadium and assign day as the only option. Then we could assign this stadium to our team in Edit mode and at least half of the games would be in day time.

I've wanted the ability to change the time for years but for the opposite reason. LOL

Day games in certain stadiums were difficult for me to see what was going on because of the shadows.

It seems they "fixed" it this year by just making all the games night games. Which isn't really what I want either.

Can't understand why we still can't just change it. Fifa's allowed us to do that forever.

Precisely. You can toggle it in Exhibition mode, but not in League. That's the epitome of stupidity. And laziness.

The absolute worst example of lacking options is only being able to access limited options while inside a game. LOL

Another small quality of life thing that every sports game ever has had.

It's pretty amazing how such relatively small things aren't a big deal until they're not there.
