Controls question

If I pass to a teammate, and preload a pass with the player who is receiving the pass, but I want to cancel it on the way, can that be done?

I sometimes find that I pass to someone and decide before it gets there that I want him to one-touch pass it forward or cross, but in the time that the pass is travelling, a defender repositions himself and I just want to trap the ball instead. Does that make sense? What do I press to override that command to pass or cross with the receiving player?

I'm on PC but if you tell me the controller you have I can figure it out.

SUPER CANCEL
Press R1 and R2 to cancel whatever action the player was about to take and regain full control. This includes shooting or passing.

SUPER CANCEL R1+R2

Ok, cool thanks. In fact, I just discovered that Konami puts digital manuals online every year. Pretty brilliant. There is no end to what you can control in this game and how much more nuanced than FIFA it is.
