Great article! I really love the way PES does player development. Other games have similar aspects but I feel as a whole with training based on position, player roles, and learn skill moves/abilities the combination is the best out of any sports game.

Great article KG! The training is a little overwhelming at first coming from a lifelong FIFA player but your article breaks it down perfectly. I will have to really start paying attention to training and developing my players instead of just playing matches in this ML.

This is an excellent post!

I'm doing something like this specifically with Randy Nteka from Fuenlabrada. He's an SS/AM but his dribbling/ball control stats are in the 60s! He's young though and I want to develop him so I'm doing focused training specifically on those stats. I want to see if I can at least bring him to the 70s there. His physical stats are already incredible.

What's great about this too, it makes you use older players and value them more. I can't wait till one of my guys becomes a Legend in game!

Thanks. I find it difficult analysing attributes and determining what play style fits what player and match squad and what to focus train or maybe it's left that way for the imagination. As the commentator says in the match 'the artists have painted their pretty pictures.'
