PS3, What is considered the best PES game?

I had a PES for PS2 . I can't remember the year.

But then I heard the early PES for the ps3 weren't as good. Somehow EA was considered better.

But now, that a few were made. Anyone have an opinion on a better/best PES?
I hope they kept a decent amount of offline customization for shoes and uniforms etc.. I loved making uniforms on ps2. But I couldn't figure out the logo editor.

PES 2013. I'd say PES 2007 if you want that PS2 era feel, but that's only on the 360.

2013 & 2011 were the best for me.

2013 had all of the la liga stadiums which was very cool

2011's gameplay had a good mixture of realism and fun.

TBH, I don't remember about 2012 lol.

I just remember playing 7-8 years of PES 2011 Master League and 5-6 in 2013.

It's all good regarding "pitch" pitch/field.....soccer/football

My personal pick would be 2012. Have not played 2011. I actually bought a copy last week but the disc was unreadable lol.

PES last gen was all over the place. I like 2008, 2010 and 2013 too, but they all have their issues. I actually enjoy 2014 quite a bit as well.

I've gone back and played nearly every FIFA and PES from 2006 onward over the few months, after being suitably bored with the current games. It's pretty funny to see the features that have been added, removed, then added again in that time frame. FIFA 06 World Cup had quick subs, and the ability to change formations without hitting pause. But I digress.

I'd stick with the PS2 versions. Preferably 3, 5 and 2008.

You must at least like one of the ps3 versions ,no?

I want to at least give my ps3 some action.

And play with a more fleshed out team /uni editor.

I'm not sure what my first PES was. I didn't care that they had no Fifa license.

Not any that I've tried. The post PS2 games I've tried have all felt clunky & unresponsive controlling the players, with terrible player switching and crappy defense.
