Keepers stay too far in the net

Has anyone else had a problem with this?

When you come one on one with the keeper, even from way out, the keepers don't rush out. Offensvie keepers are supposed to come out more but not nearly enough. It's way too easy to score hence why you never see a keeper stay on his line in real football.

Also makes it nearly impossible to round the keeper =(

Yeah they stay on their line way too much, especially those keepers who have the “defensive goalkeeper” trait.

Not me, I've actually seen keepers come out and challenge every damn time which was frustrating and I had to adjust the gameplan.

I think it entirely depends on the keeper in net and their tendencies.

PES 2012 was the last game with realistic 1v1s vs the keeper, sadly. They would actually go to ground on shot fakes, which is what happens in real life.

Yeah...it depends on whether or not they're "defensive" or "offensive". What I should have earlier was that it shouldn't matter their traits, they should all come off their line when necessary. When they stay on their line and you have them 1v1 it's a goal 90% of the time.

Exactly my point, no keeper "defensive" or not, does ever stay on his line in a 1v1 situation. Haven't seen this in any other footy game since like FIFA 1995 either so not sure why this is the case now? Have only played PES 19 and 20 of the rescent one's but it was the same with 19. Had to edit all the keepers (I play offline leagues) to "offensive" to make it somewhat realistic

Yeah I have made sure to remove defensive style from all goalkeepers, it's stuff like this that is head scratcher from Konami as these traits should be tied into stats somewhat. If use play against Neuer Bayern they actually have him replicated correctly even with his Style being Offensive.
