Re: New Football Game - PES 2022 Tech Demo

I played a match. It played like PES. I've helped test the server my role is done. Lol. I'll probably play another few games and delete it. I'm sure the internet will jump to wild conclusions about the game quality based on a who knows how old build.

Biggest thing I noticed was the scoreboard said announcement coming July 21st. So I guess that's when we'll get out first proper look at the game.

    I'm still cautiously optimistic.

Played a couple of games and enjoyed the additions and updates. The fact that it's not even under the PES name shows that it's like an alpha build so not gonna overjudge it yet.

BUT I do hope they update the menus a little further, the graphics on PS5 look really good imo.

I played it on PS4 I did see some people mention ball boys but I didn't see it which makes me wonder if it's exclusive to PS5. Other than that I like some of the immersive features. The map style when picking teams. the kit selection screen, players warming up before matches all very cool and much needed as it has been a looooong time coming. Can't speak to much on gameplay and won't since this seems like they ported the mobile version to consoles and it looks pretty bad on PS4. Other than that bring on July 21st excited to see what changes they have bought to the series.

I should know better but reading comments on YouTube and or almost any public internet space is a bad idea. No one seems to or wants to understand that this is not a beta or a "this game drops in 2 weeks" demo.

I've unsubscribed from Spoony after watching his " PES 2022" impressions vid because I found his video title misleading and he didn't really make it clear until almost the end of the video that this isnt the proper demo, though he treated as such. His opinions are usually pretty good and there's no need for clickbait titles.

Played a game earlier, it was laggy as hell playing it.

However the gameplay was a lot better & players now made runs without just randomly stopping.

I can't believe no one commented on 1) New shielding mechanic and 2) the ability to skip replays. People are judging this on the basis of a final product. It is not a final product. And it is not even for consoles. This is by no means a final visual representation, it is a test for online performance as it says on the tin.

You were always able to skip replays, but finally you can do it with X/A instead of the options/start button.
