I started an Arsenal save myself and also picked up Danny Wilson. I've yet to get very far into my season but I'm interested to see how he does. Keep me posted on yours

FM isn't agreeing with me right now. This whole season my team has been battered and beaten. Once everyone comes back and gets in a groove, this happens. We are a much better squad than our record shows, and I hope the board realizes that. I'd like to be around when all of this youth I bought develops into a star studded championship bound team.

Reed is my star striker, btw.

Hey Perceptor, where did you get those kits?

I have some very similar, but the Arsenal one doesn't work.

I started a game in Ligue 1 with AS Saint-Étienne

I beat rivals Lyon so I'm sure the board is happy about that.

They're the SS 09-10 kits which are on both FMG and sortitoutsi. That's the only kit set where the Arsenal home kit works I think

28 games in and haven't dropped any points in the league with my kids...I will post a proper update later, but here's my last match against Chelsea:

Re: ***The Official Football Manager Thread***

My computer semi-crapped out on me two weeks ago, so I was forced to reboot Windows 7 unfortunately and wipe-clean my HD. Sadly, my last backup to an external HD was in January, so I lost all of my progress in all of my saves.

Cutting my losses, I started up a new save with Swindon Town in League One. I immediately went to the transfer market to find free players or players listed for loan (I started it so that no teams had a transfer budget). I was able to pick up Febian Brandy (Man Utd), Gavin Hoyte (Arsenal), and Tom Soares (Stoke). Needless to say, my team is quite fast. 5 games in, I'm sitting 8th in the table with 10 points (3W/1L/1D/+5). Brandy is ridiculous, contributing 6 goals and 2 assists in 5 league games. I'll update as long as I stay interested in this team, which is saying quite a bit.

I was thinking of doing a Liverpool save later on to see if I could do a better job than Rafa lol....spending all that money on a mediocre squad.

Good luck on your save Tomas. I'm really enjoying my Arsenal save, but I like individual players and might try rebuilding Liverpool in my next save

I'm guessing it's even more gimped than the Xbox versions they release...
