I've completely lost motivation for FM at the moment. I'm becoming increasingly tempted to just go to a big club, although I'm not sure.

Holy **** I never want to play this game again. My only goal came on a penalty, and I lost both Messi and Cesc to injury.Kansas City Royals | FC Barcelona | New Orleans Pelicans

Avoided relegation!
After a 3 and a half month offseason, I've brought in a coach (my only coach, who will help defending) and a Central Defender. Hopefully we can play better on our own end and continue to score like we did the last few matches.
(Why is offseason from November to March?) smh
QUESTION:
Is it okay to put player's training level on Heavy if we're a semi-pro club? Because it says that overall team training is light. And I would like our guys to improve a little bit at least. (even tho we have below average facilities)
I used to put important things hereComment

I managed to create a World League last year for the International teams, so that might be on my to-do list over the holidays as well.Comment

Got some nice regens and they've progressed well enough for me to consider them to play them at age 15,16, etc. I got this goalie, which Serie A teams are already scouting him, would love to keep him for a long time but we'll see how it goes.Last edited by Kobalt; 12-07-2013, 07:40 AM.Comment

In my short stint using the Rapids, don't think the CPU management has improved much. They still struggle working with cap space, so they always have great young players on waivers.

Re: ***The Official Football Manager Thread***
So after trying to get back into my Journeyman game for a couple of weeks, I seem to have failed. I'll be keeping the save, but not sure if I'll go back to it.
I've spent the last hour or so trying to come up with a new save that might keep me interested. I made a post a bit further up the page about wanting to be a big club and this is what I'm going to do, with a bit of a twist.
I was looking on the SI forum and a Big Club/Small Nation title caught my eye. Essentially, take over a giant and put your manager nationality as a small nation, hoping that you can generate a couple of players from that nation. I know this was possible in FM13, so I'm presuming it's possible here.
I wanted to go England and was thinking Arsenal, but I had a save with them last year, so I'm going to go with the closest Premier League side to where I live, which is Man City, by about 4 miles. The nation I've chosen is Papua New Guinea.
Off I go...Comment

Re: ***The Official Football Manager Thread***
WOAH!!!! Cardiff's GK had a perfect 10 match rating against me! I have never seen anything like that in FM before. I had 37 shots, and he saved everything, including 3 penalties. They had 2 shots. One of those shots was a 40 yard bomb, so of course I lost 1-0.Comment
