    Then the group draw came...
Japan, Algeria and Holland. I really couldn't win with any draw. Just about everybody else in the field is better than Canada, maybe except Kuwait - who somehow qualified. Lol.

Lost 3-0 to Japan, absolutely outclassed in every way.
We were up 2-0 on Algeria until they got one back in the 45th minute. They'd tack on 3 more. Yep, we lost 4-2.
Final game against Holland didn't matter, as we were out and they were through no matter the result. They won 3-1.
Germany took gold, Brazil silver and Uruguay bronze. No real shockers there.

I didn't expect to get much success out of this team, so I'm not surprised. It was a fun job to take and now it's over. I've been on the hunt for a new club, so that'll be my primary focus now.

Taking a break from the frustration of my St. Pauli save and going back to my Spurs save for a bit. It's kind of fun to go back to that after playing with St. Pauli.

It is January of the 2015-2016 season. We finished 4th in 2014, and won the league 2015. Now I'm aiming to win the Champions League. Was in a group with Barcelona, Celtic, and some Austrian team. Finished second in the group, and are now matched up with Juventus (who won it in 2014) in the first knockout round.

I'm currently first in the league, 2 points ahead of Man City.

      Here's how I'm lining up:

Eriksen and Lamela are just lethal.

Bought Ross Barkley from Everton for $34m in 2014. Got Enes Unal from Bursaspor in Turkey for $10m last season. He has been great. He's 19 years old, with 4.5 star potential. Leading the EPL in goals so far with 20 (slightly inflated from a 4 goal game against Reading recently)

Got to say that there is no better feeling than throwing a promising 15 yr old into the fire right after he comes through the intake and he bangs home the winning goal against Barcelona.

Youth intake day in St Lucia is like having a half dozen players who can go straight into the first team.

The 2015/16 season went exactly the same as last. Win the league, win 1 out of 3 group stage games and go out.

Although I did have World Cup Qualifying, for which I went out of too. Beginning to lose my patience with this save.

Dispatched Juventus in the first knockout round.

First leg of the Champions League Quarter Final, and we don't have to travel very far. North London Derby!

Lamela FK in stoppage time to push the lead to 3. No I just have to avoid going and getting annihilated at the Emirates Stadium.

Still on track to win the EPL as well. A lot of great teams (Bayern, Dortmund, Barcelona, Real, Man U, Man City) left in the CL, so I'm trying not to get ahead of myself! Haha

              edit:

Oh boy, I sweated that one out. Through on aggregate 3-2!

You knocked Arsenal out with Spurs? Match engine's broken. Patch needed.

Got matched up with Bayern in the semi finals of the CL. First leg was at home.

I was pretty much dominating the game, and Bayern got a quirky goal, off of a mistake by one of my young center backs. Ended up being the only goal of the game.

Now I have to go to Munich down a goal.

                            Back to back! Woo!

It was satisfying to beat my main competition (City) to clinch the title, because I felt like I haven't done very well against some of the better competition this year. Although I just looked at it, and I got 10 points from the 4 directly below me in the table (City, United, Liverpool, and Arsenal), 3-1-4.

Gunning for the Champions League next year.

edit: I guess winning back to back titles has other benefits. My sponsorship money went up from $65m to $83m!

Well, it took signing a few guys off of frees, including Shaun Wright-Phillips, but the second year went much better than the first.
