And I drew Real Madrid in the CL Quarterfinals, who are first in La Liga.

Bangor City have the unfortunate distinction of making 7 appearances in the League Cup final and losing every single time.

      Not this year!

I know you're managing in Wales, but only 842 showed up for the league cup final? That's rough.

Well, with a huge match coming up against Juventus (tied with them on points for the league lead), here is the condition and injury status of my starting lineup. And it's all thanks to massive injuries over an international break.

But I managed to beat Juventus anyway, though I did almost blow a 3-0 halftime lead:

I agree. I have a solid B team, but you still don't want your B team playing in the biggest match of the season. What's worse is that all the injuries were for ~ 1months (with 2 months for Niklas Sule being the longest), so I'll be limping into a CL Quarterfinal tie vs. Real Madrid having to play many B teamers, and I'm not expecting the result to be pretty.

We went into the CL Quarterfinals 1st leg against Real Madrid as underdogs, but then Javier Hernandez decided to score 4 goals:

Well, we almost blew it, but after a wild 2nd leg the upset is complete and we are on to the Semis:

The fact that I am drawn against Juventus in the CL Semis has even greater significance given the current league standings with 7 matches left:

                                Roma has:
                                9th place Udinese (H)
                                4th place Napoli (A)
                                8th place Fiorentina (H)
                                19th place Bari (H)
                                11th place Empoli (H)
                                7th place Sampdoria (A)
                                18th place Pescara (A)

                                Juventus has:
                                3rd place Torino (A)
                                16th place Cesena (H)
                                13th place Cagliari (A)
                                19th place Bari (H)
                                14th place Chievo (A)
                                19th place Bari (H)
                                17th place Parma (H)

So Juve clearly have the easier schedule. Which is why it's key that I have that 3 point advantage and the tie-breaker.
