Re: ***The Official Football Manager Thread***
Thanks to drawing several lower league sides in a row, and beating Ligue 2 side Niort in the quarterfinals, I have somehow made the semis of the Coupe de France. I'm going to get slaughtered no matter who I draw, as there are no lower teams left to make me look better than I am, but at least I made it this far.Attached FilesComment

Sometimes, it's the little things....
City have been annoying me with transfer offers for Harry Kane over the last month and a half, even though I've issued a hands off warning and repeatedly denied (with no counter) their offers.
Playing City in game 4 of the season, and Kane goes out and does this to them:
University of Minnesota Golden Gopher Hockey
Minnesota's Pride on Ice: 1974, 1976, 1979, 2002 & 2003 NCAA National Champions

Re: ***The Official Football Manager Thread***
I just got fired. Booooooo.
I applied for a league 2 (4th tier) Scottish team, Sterling Albion. I am currently the leader for the job. But still waiting for the interview. If I don't get that, its back to 8th and 9th level England, as they are the only other jobs open.

Re: ***The Official Football Manager Thread***
Third promotion in three years, am I dreaming? I almost choked in the end, won 3 points in my last 7 games, but the teams around me played like crap as well.
I think it might be time for an intervention.

Re: ***The Official Football Manager Thread***
I lost one match with Ivory Coast, quarter finals against Cameroon in the African Cup of Nations in penalties and I lost my job. Team was so stacked, I'll miss them.
Was looking at the most expensive transfer in my save and I have to say, this is the biggest waste of money.

Re: ***The Official Football Manager Thread***
Well I broke the club transfer record, I think I broke my own transfer record as well, spent £45m, plus £25m in incentives. Hopefully he solidifies the squad as Henri Lansbury moves back to the midfield. He'll be rotating with Mario Götze.

Re: ***The Official Football Manager Thread***
So I eventually got the Stirling job. Wasn't sure I would get it. Took almost two weeks for them to offer it after the interview. And I'm pretty sure this game has a new manager boost somewhere in the background. I did better than I expected.
We finished fourth, started in 8th when I took over. Qualified for the promotion playoff to league 1. And somehow ended up playing our best football of the year and won the damn playoff. Such mixed emotions about that.
Spoiler
End of season I was able to pick up some pretty solid transfers on free due to expiring contracts. Players I wouldn't have been able to sign if we didn't luck out and get promotion. So hopefully they will help us stay up.
Also this happened. Gave me a good laugh. I'm sure you've all probably seen this before. This kid was in my U20 squad, I tried to renew his contact before end of season, but he refused. Said squad wasn't good enough for his expectations. So it expires, then he retires.

Re: ***The Official Football Manager Thread***
Last day of the season.
Top 2 are promoted to the Championship.
I'm in 3rd place.

Welp, completed the weakest 'Quadruple' I can think of, Community Shield, UEFA Super Cup, Club World Cup, and the Capital One Cup. Already out of the FA Cup so that's out, but we can still win the Champion's League, and the Premier LeagueSupport Local Sports

January 2015. I'm trying to start in 2016 with the new transfers (which means just adding Brazil or Argentina). Since SI hasn't released the official data yet, thought I'll ask.Lions, Tigers, Pistons, Michigan

I haven't used it, but I saw one the other day on sortitoutsi.net under Data Updates. Not sure how complete it is though.
