Who downloaded the game from steam? I'm about to and want to know if anyone has had any problems and what do I need for 2010? I've already downloaded the latest direct x, anything else?

It automatically downloads the latest Direct X driver if you don't have it. Just enter in your credit card information and let it download. I have yet to run into any issues.YNWA

You don't have to be online to be able to play it on Steam; you can be offline and play FM10 (or any other game for that matter) via SteamYNWA

Love that this game runs so much faster then last year. I have added a bunch of created leagues and it adds so much more to the game espcially since I started unemployed. Decided to go with Beijing Guoan FC instead of a team from Saudi Arabia which by the looks is a massive mistake of a choice as my team just plain sucks.Comment

Things not going so well at Hannover. Fighting to stay above 16th (first relegation sport), we're currently 15th, 1 point above the 16th place team. We're so far in the red I've stopped counting. Most of our decent players are leaving after the season. If we do manage to avoid relegation this year, I don't see that happening next year. I'm planing on jumping off of this sinking ship at the end of the season.
At least I know this wasn't ALL my fault...the team was in this shape when I got there.Comment

Re: ***The Official Football Manager Thread***
How is national team going? I have played 5 games, 4-0-1, so not bad start. I am running 4-4-2 with Altidore and Davies/or other forward up top, with much success. Also brought on Jones to strengthen midfield. Altidore has 4 goals. Tie was against Honduras, got two months till next round.
USA group is Paraguay-Sweeden-South Africa
Seems possible to advance in my eyes.
Our world ranking has dropped considerably, I think it's because (once again) I' dumb and couldn't figure out how to schedule a friendly. I think it's ~30.Comment

It appears I've rallied the troops. I'm even considering staying with the club now. We've risen above the relegation zone with 3 wins in a row, including this one.

Looks good. You need to download some kits....I always hate seeing these generic kits they have with the game.Comment

Well, WC draw was made. I would post the entire draw, but I'm dumb, and can't get back to the screen where all 8 groups were on the screen at the same time, sorry. :o
