Smallest country in Europe, population wise. About 30,000 people in just 23.5 square miles. Also the oldest in the sovereign state/constitutional republic in the world.

Don't mean to call you out, but Vatican City is actually the smallest country in the world with a population of ~830, in only .17 square miles. Don't you just love Wikipedia?

You got me there. Technically San Marino is the smallest member of the Council of Europe, whatever that means.

I wish I could manage the Vatican City national team, or even better, Vatican City FC, aka the Popes!

          Ummm...
I don't even know what to say. I guess John Fleck was a great signing...
I should add that this was after a 8-0 victory and a 5-0 victory

Why is he playing with your U18s still? Who's playing for the full team?

At the moment this is my Starting XI.

Fleck got the start last game and pulled out a 6.8, but received a yellow card. He's heading up join with the Scotland U-21 team, so we won't see him suiting up against ManU in 6 days. Thank God for scouts in Scotland...

He came on in the 57th minute and pulled out a hat-trick. I should also add that Scotland was down to 9 men from the 70th minute on (2 injuries w/ no subs left to use).

If I remember correctly, my scouts only gave him 5*, even though he played like a 7* player game in and game out.
Actually, only four stars. But his offensive ratings are money, especially his 20 in long-range shots. He's not going to start over Nasri or Ribery, and an offensive jolt in games in which we're losing is just what I need off the bench for an AM, and he can fill in at MC if needed, since he is currently better than Denilson (but whom my scouts have given a 6 in potential).

Wound up finishing 4th and I'm in the playoffs with Derby County facing Birmingham.

Really need to win the playoffs cause financially were in need of the premiership money, probably won't be able to avoid administration next season if we stay in the Championship
Don't you EVER read my blog? It's gotten a lot better.

Unreal. And my scouts only give him a 3 star potential rating, too.

Ratings are all relative. My scouts gave him a 7. He is a 7* player for Fulham, but only 3* for Arsenal. The gulf in class between our two midfields is 4* I would then assume.

Yeah, star ratings are relative compared to your current talent.

U-18 team just lost in the Cup Final to ManUtd, 5-3 in penalties. I'll blame this on myself for not allowing Fleck to finish what he started; he is currently slotted in the 1st team as the AMC and thus was unavailable for the youth game.

Just scheduled a friendly at home against Finland on Sept. 6, 2008 as a warm up to our home qualifying match on the 10th against Poland.

I had hoped, given the way he has been playing, that he would be a 7 star, period, regardless of club, as I was hoping to sign him.

Any recommendations for a DC? I've had Gallas and Djourou backing up Micah Richards and Toure, but Gallas is about to turn 33 and I'm looking to sell him. Thus, I need another player to slot in. I'm thinking Heitinga is a possibility, as my scouts say there isn't too much difference between him and Toure.
