Re: ***The Official Football Manager Thread***
my database is going super well right now and I'm concerned. Last year there were a smorgasbord of issues that plagued me from the outset, and this year it seems like I've managed to avoid most of those issues.
Currently on my to-do list is just
Add managers to lower division teams
Add Stadiums for lower division teams
Add Lat/Lon coordinates for all teams to hopefully get correct regional positioning.Support Local Sports

Re: ***The Official Football Manager Thread***
Going to give this a go. FINALLY got all my players back from holiday and heading into the opener vs Palace. Not sure I'll roll with this for matchday 1, but been training on it, and really like the way it shapes up.
I don't feel like Aubameyang fits well as an IF on the left like he does in real life.

Re: ***The Official Football Manager Thread***
If people knew how many times I started, then had to go edit a small thing just to sim a year and check on the status of teams.... well, lol. Last it was adding derbies, and realizing the game automatically adds "derby" at the end, so I had to rename all of the ones I made.
I'm currently at odds with myself over what the third tiebreaker should be. Currently these are my tiebreakers:
Games won seems a bit harsh, but I do want to reward teams more for winning? Goals for away from home seems to the most likely to never be tied.Support Local Sports

Re: ***The Official Football Manager Thread***
A little disappointed at how easy the first season was. But I forgot how dumb the AI is the first season at these lower levels. Most of the teams didn't even have a full roster and were playing with virtual utter crap players (like all 4's and 5's). Next season should be much tougher (hopefully, otherwise whats the point of starting so low). I'm getting picked apart by National League N/S teams right now, and I'm finding it slightly harder to sign players after my assistant took another job. He left and its like our rep dropped a bit or something. Players of the same caliber are balking at offers or demanding way too much now that we've moved up to tier 7.

RDR2 has eaten up a lot of my gaming time, so have only played half a season in my Chelsea save, might just play out this season before jumping into a long-term journeyman save.
Both Manchester sides have underachieved big time, both sitting mid-table. As a result, both Pep and Jose were recently sacked.
Conte is now at City and Pellegrini at United, so this will be interesting.Huskers | Chelsea FC | Minnesota United | OmahaComment
