    Well, new save time.
Journeyman-esq, unemployed. Dirk Kuyt returns. Main goal is to get hired by Liverpool and win a CL.

First job is surprisingly Lille, in 20th in November. Feels like a Henry mistake of a job choice.

I did a test save with them, their team is loaded with young players with high potential.

Yeah there is a crap load of them. I'm just not sure how many I can realistically use to try and bring them up to speed, all while trying to fight out of this 12 point deficit in the relegation battle.

I used to deploy Mendes/Maia as wing backs, or as a midfield duo depending on the opposition, but those two were the fulcrum of my time at Lille.

Edit: This was also on FM18, so I don't know how their positions have changed

We survived by making it to the playoff (18th) and winning the playoff against a Ligue 2 side. Terrible season overall. Was having major issues in the dressing room all season and during the off season. And we had no money and I wasn't having any luck selling the unhappy players. And I was probably going to be fired for breaking the promise of keeping a happy dressing room, so I stepped down before they could. Now Feyenoord and Hoffenheim have both offered me interviews. What to do, what to do.

Went with Feyenoord, because Hoff backed out after the interview.

Well, after a truly awful start to my tenure as manager of AFC Wimbledon, we have rebounded... Very nicely.

Started the year 0-0-5, dead last in the table with nothing. But since then, we are 6-6-1, and shortly before Thanksgiving, we're sitting in a very comfortable mid-table position, a full 8 points above the drop zone.

The injury crisis got better, and I also brought in basically every able bodied Englishman between the ages of 18-30 to try out for the club. Found a couple diamonds in the rough, including a tidy little midfielder who had been released by Fulham, and had yet to be picked up by another club.

In total, I brought in 3 players who were free agents. 2 of them are immediately in my Starting XI, and the 3rd is a versatile defender who can play fullback and CB, giving me some much needed depth.

I am admittedly over-extending myself on wage budget. It's a gamble on my part, we're only a bit over on the wage budget, and we still have money in the bank, so I don't think it will be catastrophic, but this offseason (hopefully even January) has to be about getting leaner, and trimming some of the excess players that I don't find myself using.

Starting to become pretty confident that we will be able to stay up. Although there is A LOT of season left, but who knows. Going to start using my scouting budget on finding some young promising players who have Championship level potential.

So put the Arsenal project on the back burner, started a journeyman save, and ended up at QPR. They are in a relegation battle and their finances aren’t the greatest.

I had to terminate a few loans and sell some young prospects who didn’t fit into my system just to raise a few bucks.

Lost my first game against West Bromwich 1-0, but beat Wigan last night 2-0 away, which lifted me from the drop zone.

I’m calling it the Mo Challenge. (If memory serves me correctly he took QPR to the promise land a few times over the years.)

If anyone is looking for a young stud at AMR, Luis Sinisterra is amazing. 18 year old Colombian at the start of the game. Starts with a club called Once Caldas in Colombia. You can get him under $2m. Bought him for 1.8M at 20 for Feyenoord. Hes scored 13 in 14 and has 8 ast. And is now wanted by 34 clubs and I doubt I can hang on to him. Never heard of the kid before, one of those random finds by scouts. Wonder how he would do at a big club.

                          Almost surely.

Got my logos downloaded and installed, gonna do the face pack overnight. Going to ease into this with an easy team.

2021/22 season is over...unfortunately hit a patch of bad form near the end and fell to 8th.

-Made it to our second FA Cup semifinal in three seasons, losing to Man City 5-2
-Won our group and got past Udinese in the Europa League round of 32 and lost to Arsenal in the round of 16
-Somehow conned my Egyptian wonderkid striker to stay another season. His release clause is like $110 million so I'd be happy either way, but I really want to get into the top four next year.

Also, Spurs are a dumpster fire. They finished 11th this year after they sold off their entire core of players and replaced them with Ruben Neves and a bunch of randoms. (EDIT: nvmd they’re about to sell Neves)
