Re: ***The Official Football Manager Thread***
To be fair, Liverpool are quite an opponent in 19. They put 5 past me at Anfield. Would have been 5-5, but my crew missed 3 sitters.
You might have Bayern and Barca calling you soon, by the way.
My biggest complaint about 19 right now are GK howlers, you know the one where a shot cannons off of the post, then right back off your keeper into the net.

Madrid have weirdly been starting the game on picking up Wijnaldum, who I'll gladly sell for way too much and replace him with someone much better. Just wish they would've made the move before Barca got to Milinkovic-Savic before me.
Fun coaching carousel stuff:
Spurs were mired in 8th and sacked Poch. And brought in Rafa. Facts. Then we drew them in the quarter finals of the Champions League, so had that nice storyline.
Klopp landed at Bayern in December as they were in 7th or 8th and fired Kovac. I forgot to see where they ended up. Will check tonight.
Man City hired Carlo Ancelotti.Last edited by ImTellinTim; 05-28-2019, 03:56 PM.Comment

Re: ***The Official Football Manager Thread***
I feel like I'll probably get a bit tired of the save, but it's fun to have eff you money and a squad of happy players. When Mane started piping up when I rejected PSG's January bid, almost the entire team sided with me.
For some reason I have a hankering to play in the English Championship. I haven't done that in a while.Comment

Re: ***The Official Football Manager Thread***
I actually faced a lot of nervous moments in the Champions League knockout rounds. Was actually one of the most fun seasons with a top club I can remember. League came down to the last day too. I was 3 points behind after Match Day 36.Comment

I was enjoying my Ipswich save until stupid Brexit happened. Because of Brexit one of the best players I signed can't play for me cause he has no work permit.

Re: ***The Official Football Manager Thread***
Has anyone seen a replay where goal line technology awards a goal? I've seen like 20 so far where the save is made and it's halfway across the line.Comment

Re: ***The Official Football Manager Thread***
I haven’t seen it yet. I’m using the 19.3 update, and I’m in February of 2019. Many close calls like you describe though.

I probably watched 200+ none were goals and I gave up on it.Support Local Sports
