Yep. Wildly frustrating. Purposely set my defensive line deep knowing any combo of clowns I throw out there will get burnt with balls over the top, and I’m still getting burnt on balls over the top.

If you have a deeper defensive line, your effectively inviting pressure on your defence so you should be able to hit them on the counter, most likely you Centre Backs are somehow out of position and you need a defensive midfielder to stop the Opponents PLAYMAKERS from making that pass.

what mentality are you playing on?, and what roles are your midfielders and defenders?

If you have a deeper defensive line, your effectively inviting pressure on your defence so you should be able to hit them on the counter, most likely you Centre Backs are somehow out of position and you need a defensive midfielder to stop the Opponents PLAYMAKERS from making that pass.

Balanced mentality with ball playing defenders as defend and cover. Using the offsides trap and telling my defenders to get stuck in. I’m also using tighter marking.

DLP (D), Box to Box, and an advanced playmaker.

So I tweaked my tactics and went on an absolute tear during the month of December where I only dropped 2 points.

However I seem to have not won over my players even though dressing room atmosphere and cohesion is through the roof. Any thought or suggestions?

Most likely your players don't have faith in you yet!, your tactics, your training they rant buying into it...winning will get them on board! and a few other methods!

Ok!, So from what I can tell I can already spot a big flaw in your tactic without even looking to deep!

1. The Ball Playing Defenders can be useful, but your getting killed over the top even on a lower line so set ATLEAST 1 of them to a Central Defender *Defend and let him focus on....Simply defending through balls and incoming crosses into the box, I'm assuming your Arsenal?, so Simplify your Defenders Role and Duty!

2. Offside trap!...MAJOR PROBLEM!, your playing an offside trap with a lower line?, your effectively telling your Centre Backs to try and catch the oppositions strikers offside but they are so close to goal, Most Premier League strikers will PUNISH your ***!. So get rid of that.

3. Get stuck in!...So your sitting deep your Centre Baks are trying to get infront of strikers AND your telling your defenders to go you dive into tackles opening up more gaps for opposition players to play passes!. get rid of this too.

4. So I'm also assuming your laying a 4-1-2-3 Try changing the DLP to a more "DEFINED" defensive role to shield your CB like a Half Back, or a Defensive midfielder on Defend

5. You have a Box to Box and an Advanced Playmaker, this is a very attacking combination, you could add in a Ball Winning mid on support to "Support" defensive and offensive transitions and pair him with a Central Midfielder on support to play balls to your attack!

Just my quick opinion, hope it helps!

I'm assuming your recent form is not in line with how well "The Squad" thinks it should be doing, remember the player ratings is essentially a combination of numbers that tell the you how well the player has done his job on the pitch, if your winning and they are consistently averaging under 7.0 for a match rating, your player can feel like he is not playing as well as he should be!..

A players Happiness can be down to many things!, and it's important they back there manager as a run of bad games will quickly see you out the door and on the Unemployment list

I'm guessing that there is a typo in the photo file name for the ones that you are missing. It's done by an ID number for each player's database entry. The game looks for that matching ID in the photo file folder. You can easily find out what the ID for Pogba's database entry is, but good luck finding the photo of Pogba in order to correct it!

EDIT: I see you've probably already tried this. After you got it right, did you try re-downloading the config .xml file? Sometimes that works.

Might be a pain, but try removing all the packs and redownloading them, and try the cut out facepack from sortitoutsi

Might be a simple glitch in the file at the time of your downloading, or see if anyone else on sortitoutsi forums is having the same issue
