Agreed I've got my Wilshere jersey ordered already. He's going to be a great player provided he develops the way he has and stays healthy.

He's not your typical English player in that he has creativity and flair - something I think England lacks as a whole

The best thing about Wilshere is that we will never have to hear about him having someone else's DNA when he reaches his prime.

BBC has reported that Cesc is out of the Shakhtar match with a hamstring injury. Song, Arshavin and Denilson are also doubtful.

Hey now, lets not call it an injury. No jinxes! Apparently it's just tight and it's a precaution.

As for the other three, I think we can easily take care of business without them. I wonder if this means Diaby is back?

Shakhtar: Pyatov; Chygrynsky, Rakitskiy, Srna, Jadson, Rat; Hubshmann, Gai; Jadson, Willian, Eduardo; Luiz Adriano
Subs: Khudzhamov, Kucher, Kobin, Stepanenko, Douglas Costa, Alex, Marcelo Moreno

Arsenal: Fabianski; Eboue, Djourou, Squillaci, Clichy; Eastmond, Wilshere; Walcott, Nasri, Rosicky; Bendtner
Subs: Szczesny, Sagna, Koscielny, Vela, Chamkh, Emmanuel-Thomas, Lansbury

Very strong side for us. Hopefully Eastmond gets a full game and JET and Lansbury get some playing time.

Mistakes from out fullbacks set up both goals. I don't think Eboue ever makes an appearance that doesn't leave me angry.

Also, the first goal was classic atrocious Arsenal zonal marking. Ridiculous that we still can not fix such an issue.

                        From the Daily Mail:

Arsene Wenger has expressed his shock that Robin van Persie has been named by Bert van Marwijk in Holland's preliminary 24-man squad for a friendly against Turkey on November 17.

I just don't think that is right. Not just in RVP's case but in any player that is recovering from injury. If he isn't fit enough to be involved in his domestic club's side than he should be automatically omitted from being chosen to represent his country.

Absolutely ridiculous. After seeing several players injured while on international duty, I've definitely taken the stance that club is more important than country. I know people don't agree with it, but the club is paying millions to that player. This is also not the first time there has been trouble with the Dutch national team. Last year when RVP's injury occurred they misdiagnosed his injury.

I think I'd be even more pissed about this if I still wasn't pissed about yesterday.

Fabregas was also called up for Spain near the beginning of the season to play in Mexico, when he wasn't playing for us to do being involved in the entire World Cup.

I'm sick of internationals as a whole.

Agreed. This is freaking ridiculous indeed. He was injured in a friendly last year and hasn't played for us basically the whole season and they have the nerve to call him up? He's clearly not going to be match fit for us so I have no idea why on earth the Dutch Fed would do this..

In any event, we have a big game tomorrow against Newcastle and it does look like Diaby might need surgery.

On a personal note, I received my new navy Arsenal N98 jacket as well as an infant home kit for my little one. Now all I need is my LS home kit and I'll be set

Yeah that was brutal. Newcastle were really solid and we weren't. Cesc in particular was terrible for his standards. We never got into any flow and we paid for it.

Another home loss against a side we should beat. The only good thing about today was that Chelsea lost so while we didn't gain any ground, we didn't lose any either

                                Hopefully, we'll rebound this week
