Vela I think will get his chance next season because Rosicky, Arshavin etc. are in their late 20's-30's and we know what Wenger does when players are close to their 30th birthdays.
The problem with Vela is that he's a little small to be a centre forward. He's got a great future, but maybe not Arsenal if he doesn't get first team football.Comment

Wenger probably wouldn't do it but loaning him to Championship team where he would play every week would do him the world of good.Comment

I would say tomorrow's game is not only huge because it's Spurs, but also because I think Chelsea will have to fight hard for all three points against Birmingham. A win over Spurs and gaining ground on Chelsea would be a fine Saturday.
First step, Sagna needs to be handcuffed to Bale.Comment

Its going to come down to him either improving and fighting for a spot on this squad or being shipped out. I prefer the latter as I've never been impressed with Carlos."The academic support at Ohio State, there is no way you can fail. Even if you're giving minimal effort there is no way you can fail."

I though for sure Chamahk was gonna score on his last run. There were alot of head scratching moments down the stretch.
Lucky this wasn't 2-4 considering Fabianski's poor play on that second to last cross.Last edited by HMcCoy; 11-22-2010, 02:44 AM.Hank's Custom Collectibles 3D printer/painter extraordinaireComment

Well, just a dreadful performance. One of the worst in recent memory. Fabregas was just plain stupid. And Wenger thinks this is his most talented side since joining the club. Wonder what he thinks now.Comment

Re: ***The Official Arsenal "Gunners" Thread***
I think I cursed for the last half of the match. We had that game after the first half and just stopped playing in the second. It was very disappointing how poor we were in the last part of the game.
Full marks to Spurs for their comeback, but we should never have allowed them back in the game and that handball by Cesc was well, dumb. It is what it is and what we gained last week on Chelsea could all be a waste if they win tomorrow. Lots of soul searching to be done for sure.
With all the negatives, I will say at worst, we'll be 5 points back and while I never like losing to Spurs, there are still a lot of games to be played and points to be won.Comment
