Wenger won't be making any signings in January by the looks of it.

Not surprising. We're two points off the leader and have not been ravaged by injuries. While a world class keeper would still be amazing, we're not getting that.Wenger won't be making any signings in January by the looks of it.

I see Almunia is pretty much fit now. Do you think Wenger is going to stick with Fabianski or will he revert back to Almunia?Comment

I think he sticks with Fabianski for now, unless he makes several mistakes in one game in the near future.Comment

Absolutely - otherwise Wenger would still be starting the kids. I realize it's the Carling Cup, but it's still a trophy and winning one would boost team morale IMHO. People forget that when United won the CC back in 2006, they were going through a trophy drought and while they didn't win anything else that year, I believe that win was a springboard to their run of success afterComment

Agreed. If we're taking it serious with our team selection, then if we win it's a serious achievement. Is it the greatest? I think we'll see an even stronger lineup in the semi's than we did yesterday and if we make it to the final, a complete first team side.Comment

Nasri is becoming the star of this team. With him on one side and Arshavin on the other, we are ever so dangerous.
If only the defenders could get it in order. Wenger either needs to buy a better keeper or a quality central defender for the stretch run.Comment

He's definitely becoming the player he was expected to be. I just got to actually see the goals from today, and both were absolutely incredible. Such amazing skill and footwork.
This month with matches against Chelsea and United will show if we're going to be serious title contenders.Last edited by Krebstar; 12-04-2010, 10:08 PM.Comment

Yeah, both goals were pure class. He's been our best player this year, and I might have to get a Nasri jersey if he keeps this up.He's definitely becoming the player he was expected to be. Nasri's first goal was just fantastic. The second was pretty darn good as well.
Some of you may bash this comment but IMO you guys play better when Fabregas isn't even playing. I think you should cash in. Get a GK and maybe some more help in defense and you are set.
Just saw that Vermaelen is out until at least the new year with his achilles problem.Comment
