I agree. We have pieces in RVP, Wilshere, Sagna, and TV5. We just need to surround them with better talent and experience. Why hasn't this team picked up anyone from Everton, a team who is crying for money? Leighton Baines, Phil Jagielka, and Arteta might be older and not world class, but they're more than good enough for Arsenal and proven PL players.

I just don't get why they won't go after them and instead buy players we don't really need more of like the South Korean, Chamberlain etc. RVP is 28 now and not getting any younger. Wenger needs to reward his loyalty by giving him better support.

Rosicky is definitely no more than a squad player.

I was hoping to wake up today and read news of possible transfers, but so far all I saw was a rumor we could sign Alex from Chelsea. Ugh. More, please.

When you say more please, you mean more rumors that Arsene is looking to just buy other teams rejects? More signings of players that aren't expensive and won't produce? It really is disappointing that Wenger doesn't have the ability to sign a 2nd or 3rd version of Squillaci and Silvestre. He probably has inquired about bringing Senderos back.

Yes Rosicky. He may not be the B. Dortmund player he was, but I think he can be a good influence to the younger guys and pretty much the rest of the squad.

Right now Arsene needs to make a move (again no need for a big name or spending huge amount of money necessarily). Be it bringing a player, pulling off a "Cesc" like he did back in the 2003-04 season, or both.

Guys like Cesc don't grow on trees. Wenger has been trying like a madman to find another Cesc for about 3 years now. Not to mention the fact that even if we found one a 17 year old version of Cesc wouldn't do us a bit of good right now.

We need immediate help.

Is this true? I mean Andre Santos is not a bad signing, I mean he is an attacking Left Back right? At this point anything should help I just wish Arsenal would have spent money before the season started. Waiting until you a** beat is never good, the damage is already done. Those poor youngsters will be scared for life at Old Trafford. As for the team I would hope they expect nothing less than a win when Man U come back to the Emirates.

A left back?! Wow. If true, it's a good sign. Wenger admitting Gibbs is not ready or capable of being healthy shows that he's serious about trying to do something. We still need more, though.

I know they don't grow trees, trust me. And by pulling off a "Cesc" I dind't mean it literally to have another Cesc, but to pull off another unique hidden talent they have in youth that can help the team, regardless of his position or role.

That is great to do when you just need a piece to help the team, not be the heartbeat of the team. Cesc didn't step in and become the player he was when he left. We need more now than someone to help out. We need that heartbeat again.

If we had a fairly experienced squad and were dealing with injuries, we'd need a youngster to step up, just like United have. However, we're in a completely different situation right now.

To think a youngster could step in and help out to solve our issues is greatly underestimating the issues the club has.

We've inquired about Yossi Benayoun. I think that would be a decent signing, as long as it's coupled with others.

Let's not forget that we played the game without Gervinho, Wilshere, Vermalaen, Sagna, and Song who would all regularly be in our lineup. We look worse than we actually are right now because we are missing those guys.
