I think RvP, and to a degree Song, are definitive parts of Arsenal - and if we lost either of those players, well, don't want to think about that right now.

Could anyone blame RvP for being a bit disenfranchised with the happenings of the last two (maybe more) seasons?
No, but let's not forget this club has stuck by him and paid him through countless injuries. I don't think he'll forget that, either.

Him not wanting to talk about his contract now is normal. I think it's best to not let it be a distraction now. Play the season and then sort it out.

Oh, I don't forget and agree that RvP won't. I'm just sayin'.
It would be a huge blow to the club if he left, not gonna worry about that though.

I hope we can get the points at White Hart Lane this weekend... That's the focus for now.

Hopefully we get three tomorrow and build up some momentum. But points in the league definitely is huge.

Song will be starting next to Mertesacker tomorrow.

Arsenal will be without nine players for Olympiakos's visit and the manager fears his side will not be able to compete unless they are more fortunate with injuries in future

The Ox possibly on the right and could be a toss-up for who we get in the holding role.

I don't know if it's just me, but every game we go into now just seems HUGE.
hmm, maybe it is me - but it just seems that we need to perform (of course) every time out...

Two nice goals by the Santos and The Ox. Arsenal dominating which is a nice site to see. Let's hope they don't collapse.

Ugh. Another set piece misfire as Arsenal give up a free header that results in a goal. So much for working on it in practice.

Have looked really good at points, but really bad at points. Hoping for a strong second half and three points.

Deposited 3 solid CL points in the bank tonight...not all of our rivals can say that.

As it should. Its going to take a lot more than a 3-0 win at home against a pretty bad Bolton team to convince me we've turned a corner.

We will definitely see how loyal RVP is. Me thinks this is just a token bid that lets RVP know that there is interest and they go after him with some ridiculous wages a la Nasri this Summer. Its so fun having to worry about losing your best players every season because your boardroom is filled with a bunch of money hungry morons.

And with Walcott's persistent injury problems, we might really need him to step up this year.

                            ummm.....

lets go back to square one...

rich oil tycoon buys football club as hobby...
spends MULTIPLES of what the club earns, effectively being the sole creditor and in effect putting into bankruptcy risk...

rival clubs continue to aim for a semi-profitable (really break even) business, and THEY are the problem?
