I thought Song was fantastic last year but where the hell is he gonna play at Barca. They have Busquets & Mascherano. Granted he's better going forward then both of those guys combined they are both pretty ingrained in the squad, especially Busquets. I guess Mascherano will slot back into CB a lot but that move makes no sense to me from the Barca side.

Guessing he will be penciled in at the Mascherano slot. Looks like Mascherano is going to move permanently into the CB slot. Personally, I think he will probably rot on the bench at Barca.

Agreed.

He's a damn fine player, on Arsenal. On Barcelona, not so much.

He's definitely talented, but at times is still overrated and not as mature and disciplined as he should be. I'd gladly keep him, but I'm not going to be too upset about him leaving.

15 million pounds for Song. It would be nice if we would add that to the money we got for RVP, but somehow I doubt we'll spend even close to all of it.

This would never happened, because this isn't in Arsenal's DNA, but they should place a £60M bid in for Neymar.

It won't be accepted, but I figure it would do wonders to the fans and players confidence to show that the club actually has ambition.

This would never happened, because this isn't in Arsenal's DNA, but they should place a bid in for Neymar.

It won't be accepted, but I figure it would do wonders to the fans and players confidence to show that the club actually has ambition.

Wenger would instead offer the £24M from RVP, plus Chamakh, Park, Arshavin, Bendtner and Squillaci.

Are you sure? I feel like Mourihno really doesn't want him to go to another Champions League team, I guess that is why he prefers him to move to Liverpool. I wish Wenger would look for a true DMF seriously, we haven't seen one like this since Gilberto Silva.

Also tons of reports that M'Vila just played his last match and is on his way out. No mention of where he's headed, but Arsenal listed as the most probable destination. Of course, "probable destination" means absolutely nothing. However, if we did sign him, this is what our team might look like when 100% healthy:

That's a sloooooow side. I don't think you can play Giroud and Podolski from the start. You need the pace of either Walcott, Gervinho, or Ox.

Sahin would be great for you guys since he's good on the ball but M'Villa would provide some steel in the middle of the field.

Agreed. M'Villa would start over Sahin. Sahin is cover for Arteta. If M'Villa was signed.

If we just bring in Sahin, which I'm assuming will be it, then he might eventually start.

Yeah, but I hope we do get M'Vila because surprisingly for his age he is very calm and disciplined on the field. However, I know some people think he is really strong but not as strong as Song, however he used is strength well but don't expect him to muscle too many people off the ball. I guess we will just have to wait and see what happens with this transfer because getting him and Sahin would be a huge boost for the squad.

After reading some stuff on the official site, it seems Arsene has decided he wants Podolski up front. So, doesn't look like we'll see him on the left in the near future.
