Ditched work early to catch this game. It's that important. I like us 2-1 with goals from Giroud and Santi."The academic support at Ohio State, there is no way you can fail. Even if you're giving minimal effort there is no way you can fail."

With a win Spurs would be a point up on us.

Didn't mean to beat up on you earlier, but I've seen too much crap with this club to know the deal. Yea, every game is a potential to drop points for this squad sadly. I watched this club piss away a league title in 2003 after being up a crazy amount of points in the Feburary when they had one of the best squads I've seen. Now fast forward to today.....
Rule #5 - Points are never in the bag until the Ref blows the final whistle, because we will find a way to concede a howler and drop the points.

Re: ***The Official Arsenal Gunners" Thread***
No worries.
So whats everyone's feeling regarding Wenger coming back next year and finishing up his contract. What if he ended up signing another extension? I personally think Arsenal's problem is Kroenke. If you take a look at the history of other teams he has owned, you can see that the selling Arsenal's best players isnt some conincidence.
St. Louis Rams - Kurt Warner superbowl MVP released him after having a bad season in which he broke his hand, Had a rough time in New York and moved on to Arizona which he made it back to another Superbowl. The Rams have been the laughing stock of the NFL ever since then. They seem to be on the rise now but i wouldnt bet on it
Denver Nuggets - Traded away Carmelo Anthony, probably would have done the same thing as he wasn't going to sign an extension. The Nuggets are actually pretty similar to Arsenal as their only goal is making the playoffs. The equivalent to that 4th place trophy, they are never contenders for a title, they just hope to get into the dance
Colorado Avalanche- Kroenke bought the team in 2000 and they won the title that year. They were pretty successful for the next 4 years until the NHL lockout in 04-05. After the lockout a salary cap was put in place and he could no longer retain their star players and the avalanche have been marginal at best since. Only making the playoffs twice out of the last six years in a league where half the teams make it.
I guess in the end I don't believe the full responsibility lands on Wenger because I dont think Kroenke is asking him to spend and until that mindset changes, things will stay the same.
Theres my rant for the day. Hope i made some sense

Re: ***The Official Arsenal Gunners" Thread***
i remember reading rumors of wanyama linked with arsenal during the winter transfer. that would be an interesting idea especially since we can't rely on all our midfielders.Comment

Fitting that Flippe Senderos basically handed the Gooners all 3 points because of his awful marking. As many games as he cost us, he for sure owed us one.
