Well, Spurs didn't win, which is huge for us. Now we hold our fate in our hands. Win out and we're in.

I could see this going so many ways. We could even finish third if Chelsea slip enough. These next few games are absolutely massive. But we're used to that at the end of the season. Sadly.

Its in our control which is the main thing. If we cant beat Wigan and Newcastle we don't deserve 4th anyway.

Whether or not he's bull****ting us, I like it when Arsene explains things and has reasoning.

His explanation for Podolski being often substituted? Playing on the wing is more demanding than if he were playing in the middle, and he's been used to a mid season break in Germany for years.

Both true points. He really gets back and defends when he's on the left, so he's expending lots of energy.

Arsene Wenger has revealed the reason why Lukas Podolski is regularly substituted in the Premier League. The Germany international has had an impressive first season in English football, scoring 14 times in all competitions. While he can also play through the middle, Podolski has primarily been deployed on the left flank and Wenger says this is a big part of why he so often gets taken off.

Mostly, I just want some Arsenal in my life with no game this weekend, so this is me forcing it into my life.

Solid group, we could easily lose it this year.

What's with Wilshere coming off the bench the last month or so? Does this stem from Wenger's comments about rushing him back too quickly?

His ankle is still bothering him. He is going back under the knife in the summer.
