Reminds me so much of how the fans, I included, treated Emmanuel Eboue but Ramsey has much more potential than Eboue had. I'm glad he's recovered from the injury finally and he didn't go the way of Eduardo Da Silva and totally lose confidence in his game

If I start hating on Wilshere do we all think he would play well/stay healthy? Or would he fail like Squillaci, Gervinho, Bendtner, Rosicky, Arshavin, etc, etc

        Good news!

Arteta has returned to full training, and could even make the squad for this weekend.

The midfield has been great in his absence, but it's good to be adding some depth.

Something about those yellow and blues. Feel like winning uniforms.

Also, eerily similar to my high school team colors.

Plus Carzola and Sanogo will be back for Napoli in ten days as well

I feel bad for Abou Diaby. No chance he makes this squad once he is healthy.

That did not look like a regular Arsenal team, especially in the second half. Sloppy, tired, unmotivated.

At the same time, we were opportunistic, and scored from three set piece chances. Should be interesting moving forward. Stoke is clearly not the same team as they were the past 203 seasons.

Even though it's not the Stoke of old, I liked that we scored all three goals from set pieces.

Thought Gnabry had a very solid game. Very composed on the ball and can strike a ball pretty well. Great one for the future.

Agree, he looked very cautious going forward, but defended very well. Pleased with his contribution. Nice to see Arteta get a few minutes.
That, and the fact that Kos and the BFG didn't give away a penalty was encouraging.

Also, can't believe this team is sitting atop the table right now (yes, it's early), but after that AV hiccup, the boys have been getting results, and can't ask for more than that.

kudos to the players, coaches, and the manager.

It's quite amazing to see how better defensively this team plays compared to a few years ago. Especially the back four as a whole.

Apparently Arsene admitted he is going to rotate the squad on Wednesday. That could lead to an interesting lineup.

                            Nacho--TV5--Kosc--Jenks
                            Frimpong--Arteta
                            Eisfeld
                            Ryo--Bendtner--Walcott

Announcers reported it as an abdominal strain. ??
Hope it's not serious, and that it was maybe just a "stomach bug".
