    Just sign a CB, Arsene.
Podolski's time at Arsenal could be perfectly summed up with his performance versus Galatasaray. Scores 2 great and well taken goals, yet does nothing and is invisible the other 80 minutes of the match.

We can't get CB help soon enough bro. Chambers has been overplayed and Per looks awful out there right now. He's supposed our vocal leader, but is killing us right now

Thanks Oliver, you ID10T. Thankfully QPR didn't know how to press until after the 80th minute. Now we don't have him for two tough fixtures on the road and for the FA Cup (last chance at silverware).

I bet Andy Carroll blew a wad when he saw Giroud go off. He'll tear that zonal marking a new one on Sunday.

It was such a stupid reaction. The ref had to give red, and Giroud knew it. Just an unacceptable lack of discipline at a time when we couldn't afford it. He's lucky we were playing QPR and not a team that could properly take advantage.

Rightfully so. We all should be. Plus they didn't play their best midfield against Chelsea today either.

Giroud's lack of discipline was just ridiculous. It hurts even more considering that Welbeck hasn't been a consistent PL goal scorer. Anyhow, I am worried also about West Ham because I really haven't seen this team play their socks off save for a few moments here and there. We're used to having a lot of the ball, but this season, our midfield has more often than not hasn't been up to snuff.

Let's see: Draws against Everton, Spuds, Liverpool, and City. Losses to United and Chelsea. The only credible team in terms of positioning that we have beaten is Southampton. That's not good enough and I almost feel like we're always stuck in that slow gear. Sometimes, we can get out and do just enough to win while other times, we lose.

I just hope the team gets it together soon and hopefully, with injured players coming back, we can do a lot better.

Re: ***The Official Arsenal Gunners" Thread***

Ugh, I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure that every single week in this league two players go forehead to forehead after a challenge. The act itself was not a red card offense, but the reaction to it changed that.

Although, I'll say that Giroud's stupidity for even giving someone the chance to sell something like that might as well deserve a red card.

Also, how does Ferdinand not get a second yellow after his neck grab and shove on Giroud? If only Giroud sold it like he'd been shot, there would've been two red cards in that game. Over the last few years, there apparently that hands around the neck of Arsenal players is perfectly acceptable.

                Anyway, three points, at least.

Well we're in top 4 territory and Ozil's coming back in the new year. Maybe things will look up then

Getting our injured players back will be great but we still need a DM and a CB. If we can get a decent DM and CB we're looking at a great year. Time has come for Wenger to realize Diaby isn't up to it and sign a new DM. I bet he'll sign no-one though.

We'll sign a CB for sure. I think everyone realizes Chambers needs a rest for a little awhile. I have no confidence Arsene will do the right thing and get the athletic DM we need to truly compete.

How are guys feeling about Jenko?? I missed the game because I was flying back home so I'm curious how he played. If Chambers is probably a CB/DM, I wonder if Jenko still has a future behind Debuchy short term, while competing with Bellerin to be the future RB.

Another big game at a good Southampton. And Schniderelin is out because of a red card.
