Ha! Very droll Watson, but you know what I'm driving at. No excuse for not putting the ball in the back of the net once at home versus West Ham. None. Hell I can't point to any great saves Adrian had to make. It isn't like he stood on his head and we lost. The guy was barely even tested. The attack was toothless the entire match. Part of it was Arsene's starting XI and tactics, part of it was execution by said players and yeah zonal marking doesn't work if you in the wrong damn position to start with.

Bellerin would have helped since West Ham played with a tight Diamond, but not sure his inclusion would have fixed the issues the side had today."If you have a linebacker on him, you might as well start singing their fight song." -- WSU coach Bill Doba on Reggie Bush

What really frustrated me was there were several instances where Giroud had the ball out wide ready to cross it in, but no one had made a run into the box. You're not going to be able to score if players aren't getting into the right positions.Comment

Wenger said Alexis is ready to go, so I'm assuming Alexis will play. The question is who makes way. Ozil and Coq are obviously both playing in the center. Then one of Ramsey or Cazorla is joining them. That means Alexis either replaces Ox or whichever one of Cazorla/Ramsey plays on the other wing. Not an easy decision, is it? But that's the great thing about having so much depth.Comment

Ox - Ozil - Sanchez
Our new striker (oh wait...)
If he goes for anything else than the above I'll be fuming. Enough of the Ozil/Santi/Ramsey on the wing, it obviously doesn't work. I'd drop Rambo tbh, Santi next to Coq worked last year.Comment

We were lucky not to get Coq sent off. But yeah, nothing wrong taking 3 points from Selhurt Park.
I hope this team learns, there are no off days in the EPL. Almost every side has quality players all over the pitch with the type of money that is being thrown around"If you have a linebacker on him, you might as well start singing their fight song." -- WSU coach Bill Doba on Reggie Bush
