Thank you!

Some news, The Telegraph is reporting that Koscielny could've started the Bayern game, but Arsene wanted to rest him for Spurs.
I'm actually fine with that. I want us to win the league, and even though it's early, we're still in a great position to do it. We have to keep pace with City, and we can't afford dropped points.Comment

I'd love Jenko back because he is a Gooner true and true, but he isn't setting the world on fire at West Ham either. World Class at crossing but limited in defending.Last edited by cdawg44; 11-07-2015, 06:52 PM."If you have a linebacker on him, you might as well start singing their fight song." -- WSU coach Bill Doba on Reggie Bush

And then Debuchy got himself injured. Who's there for RB? Chambers? Was he on the bench today? Surprised Flamini went to RB instead of him coming on today.Comment

Yeah, the international break couldn't come soon enough. We are a damn MASH unit right now. Really didn't deserve anything from that display at all and we got destroyed in midfield the entire match. We've been outplayed by Spuds in the last 3 league meetings IMHO.
Tied at the Top of the table, but we need some of our guys back. Hopefully Bellerin and the Ox are ready in two weeks and thankfully Özil is being rested by Löw. The good news is our fixture list is manageable until Christmas when play City and go to Anfield."If you have a linebacker on him, you might as well start singing their fight song." -- WSU coach Bill Doba on Reggie Bush

Hearing about Cazorla's fitness at least shines some light on his performance. He wasn't feeling well before the match, and at the half was apparently "physical ill". He also apparently was dizzy when he was substituted.Comment

Given the patchwork team we saw in that match, I'll take the point. But man, were we lucky not to concede more. Cech made some great saves to keep us in it. What a difference having a world class GK is making.Comment

Ox is out tomorrow and I'm worried that Sanchez isn't far off with a major injury given the sheer amount of football he's played in the last year and a bit. He needs a rest, but Wenger says he can't rest him. I see another scenario where he gets hurt and has to rest to return to his absolute best formComment

Re: ***The Official Arsenal Gunners" Thread***
Well, that was calamitous defending. Couple that with Campbell missing a glorious chance and Cazorla slipping on the penalty, and we had a match that Arsenal should have won handily but instead lost. Extremely frustrating, especially since we could have topped the table with Citeh's loss to Pool. And what's most frustrating about it is that it seems every goal we concede is due to some kind of calamitous defensive error, like Bellerin marking nobody in the box on a free kick. Our defense on the whole has been good this year, but image how good it would be if the dumb errors were eliminated?Comment

Re: ***The Official Arsenal Gunners" Thread***
It also sucks that we lost Coquelin until the new year. Arteta's also hurt, which leaves Flamini as the only midfielder healthy unless Ramsey's fit again. Ugghh.
With an improved Liverpool under Klopp, our injuries, and Spurs, this could be a very interesting next few weeks. This is where the midfield depth would have helped. Wenger gambled and lostComment

Re: ***The Official Arsenal Gunners" Thread***
Welp, Arsene has to sign in January now. To me, losing Arteta isn't really a loss at this point. Well past his sale by date. Now we just have to pray Flamini doesn't get sent off and accumulate a ton of yellows. That's why I couldn't understand why you wouldn't at least bring in some competition and cover for Coquelin. He's be amazing in 2015, but the laws of Arsenal eventually catch up and he was going to get injured. Plus two months in generous for our club. I always add on 50% extra to the time because recovery with our squad can be just as bad as the injuries.
At least Ramsey can go Tommorrow and Ox will be ready by the weekend. Hopefully Theo isn't too far behind either.
The only thing about the match that made me smile was Ozil getting ANOTHER assist... So I'm guessing those arguments made by many to resign Fabregas have kind of ceased huh..."If you have a linebacker on him, you might as well start singing their fight song." -- WSU coach Bill Doba on Reggie Bush

Wonderful and clinical 3-0 win.
If we win by two goals, or score three and win we're through into the group stage. We're very capable of doing that, and I expect Arsene will have the team ready to do what is needed.Comment
