Re: ***The Official Arsenal Gunners" Thread***
I don't get how you can possibly think any of them are better than us, completely ignoring your own logic of us being 'way unstable' as that applies to each of the other teams. Absolutely bat**** insane, you are.Comment

Re: ***The Official Arsenal Gunners" Thread***
Yup, it applies to them also but IMO one or two of them will finish above Liverpool.Comment

Re: ***The Official Arsenal Gunners" Thread***
this is the gunners thread, what's all this scouser talk doing here.
i also don't think anyone should be surprised if Liverpool finish inside the top 6.
but seriously, we win 3-1 and we get scouser talk! unbelievable!Support Local Sports

Well footballs unpredictable just like your team. I still stand by what I said. One game is one game only. And it won't be the 2018-19 season. It'll be next year. And no, Stoke, West Ham and Palace aren't better teams. They've had good patches of form but in terms of talent? Not a chance
Anyhow back to my team. I think this was a good weekend for us. All our rivals lost and while Leicester won, I imagine it's only a matter of time before they come down to earth a little.
As much as I respect Leicester, their defence is the reason why they won't win. Vardy and Mahrez are having fantastic seasons but they'll come back to earth.Comment

Re: ***The Official Arsenal Gunners" Thread***
Leicester's about to hit a bump in the road in the form of Chelsea, Everton, Liverpool, and Man City—in that order.
As for Arsenal in terms of being scared of Liverpool, I'm more scared of them with Klopp next year and the year after, but not this year.Comment

Re: ***The Official Arsenal Gunners" Thread***
I'm not saying Leicester will win all these clashes but some of you guys think that the budgets play football and not the players.
2 weeks before there were several posts saying "Leicester will start collapsing in December starting with the match VS ManU". In fact Leicester did lose 2 valuable points against LVG's boring team.
Imo the better teams out there are Arsenal (without the injuries armageddon) and ManCity. That's why I expect a top 3 or at least a top 5 position for Leicester this season.Comment

To me, it isn't that they are better it is the week in and week out grind of these fixtures. It's gonna be rough to keep up this form with those nasty fixtures in a row... Eventually talent and depth start to show. They make it to New Years on top, Leicester will be taken seriously, but they are gonna crash back to Earth. Europa league is an honest to goodness and attainable goal for them though. Besides, I wouldn't be shocked if Vardy got sold if Leceister got offered £20-25 million in January. Mahrez won't go, but Vardy leaving is a distinct possibility.
Anyway, word on the street is Jack will be ready for Boxing Day at Southampton and maybe even City on the 21st. Hopefully Rosicky and Welbeck soon after. Gonna need depth for the FA Cup run this year. Hopefully we can Buy Carvalho in January and be okay until March when Coquelin and Santi are back. Sadly, Arteta just isn't an option anymore. He can't make it through 90 minutes with pulling something."If you have a linebacker on him, you might as well start singing their fight song." -- WSU coach Bill Doba on Reggie Bush
