Got away with some very poor play today, not a deserved win at all, but we'll take the 3 points.

Terrible performance, vital 3 points however. Leicester dropped points and City didn't deserve the 3 versus Watford. Just shows how tough this league is.
Thank God Alexis will be back for the FA Cup... We for sure need some more attacking bite. Getting nervy about more injuries though.Last edited by cdawg44; 01-03-2016, 03:15 AM."If you have a linebacker on him, you might as well start singing their fight song." -- WSU coach Bill Doba on Reggie Bush

Re: ***The Official Arsenal Gunners" Thread***
It would be just fitting for Arsenal to defy all expectations and past history by signing someone two days into the transfer window, only to have the player be denied a work permit.
I actually think Flamini has played decently of late, but Elneny would provide much needed DM depth.

I think them signing someone this early is a sign of the exact opposite.Originally posted by My Wife"The Celtics only won because they have a magical elf playing for their team...."Comment

I thought the work permit wouldn't a problem? How many times has he been capped for Egypt?
Nevermind. I guess since Egypt isn't top 50 this has to go to an appeal. All signs point to this not being an issue.
Also, seems like Rabiot is another name being thrown around. Young, French, etc.

Rabiot isn't very defensive minded though. Much more of a deep lying playmaker.

It would be fantastic if Gnabry stepped up like Coq last season, but given that Gnabry couldn't even get more than 3 apps for West Brom, I'm expecting Wenger to try and sort out another loan. One where Gnabry will play more frequently.Comment

The Egyptian seems to have finalized his work permit stuff and is damn close to being a Gooner.
Also, Alexis and Rosicky are back in full training, and Arteta has played a game with the reserves. Like 3 new signings.

Rosicky and Arteta will be awesome to have in FA Cup matches. But man we really need Jack back asap. Can't help but think if we had his dribbling to break down deep lying teams that could have been massive in games where we dropped points"If you have a linebacker on him, you might as well start singing their fight song." -- WSU coach Bill Doba on Reggie Bush

Hell, even not having Rosicky to bring on, who will also gladly run at defenders and make them make decisions could've helped in a few games.Comment

Arteta is back for Saturday, Rosicky is in full training now and should be ready in a few weeks. Alexis isn't gonna play in the FA Cup and I'm sure it's to rest him for at Liverpool and at Stoke. Both are massive for our title push"If you have a linebacker on him, you might as well start singing their fight song." -- WSU coach Bill Doba on Reggie Bush
