You guys never watched your team before during preseason? Ox looks like the best player in the world every summer.

Joel had a stretch of 15-20 solid minutes and then looked gassed the rest of the game and kept losing possession.

Wilshere escaped the game healthy so that's a positive.

Xhaka looked good in his limited action.

Ox looked pretty dangerous which was nice to see after the way he ended last season.

Cech, nacho and Hector looked like themselves.

Holding didn't really have to do much so not sure yet what to think.

Bielik looked good up until the awful turnover that led to the Drogba goal.

EDIT: Forgot to touch on Theo. He continued to make great runs, as usual, but once again showed why he should not be playing striker.

Yeah, it's nothing new and as far as I'm concerned he's not a real option for us as of now. We won't win the league with him starting or being an impact from the bench unless there are big changes from what we've seen in the last few years.

I believe at the beginning of the Summer I even said I'd be fine to see him sold, as he's had chance after chance.

He's still young enough for me not to give up on yet. Running out of time/patience though.

            Theo on the other hand...

We absolutely must sign a ST and CB before the window closes. Wenger needs to put his pride aside with regard to "not overpaying players". Get in there and do the business and give the club the help they need. If he's not careful, players like Ozil and Sanchez will abandon ship --and i certainly couldn't blame them.

I'm not naive to say that Ox will come good. All I'm saying is that he could. The biggest thing he needs is to stay healthy first and foremost, as does Wilshere. I hope he proves me wrong and has a great season, but I'm not betting on it.

Walcott though...I'm done with him 10 years on and he's just not going to become the player many thought. Perhaps expectations were just way too high and it didn't help that he had all those injuries. I'm sad to say that Theo is the one I've given up on.

I don't think any of those guys can stay healthy. With the club's track record of injuries, I would really suspect the blame falls somewhere in their training program.

If I were any of those guys constantly getting injured, I would either suck it up and play injured or look for a new club. With the exception of major injuries like broken bones or major ligament damage of course.

Debuchy is set to go on loan go Galatasaray. Definitely not surprised, although a bit surprised he's not making a permanent move.

Now the question is who will be cover for Hector. Chambers, or is Holding considered for that role and Chambers also goes out on loan?

If they don't sign another defender, I don't think they can afford to let Chambers or Holding go on loan simply because they need the bodies.

With that said, they've been training Coquelin at CB--to what extent I don't know. Maybe he gets some time there in the 2 games this weekend?

Of course his "move" to CB is assuming Jack and Cazorla can stay healthy...

Haven't heard anything about his knee injury, so I assumed he won't be ready to go for the start of the season.

It was supposed to be "six months" from February, so we'll see.

Akpom has been scoring some goals in pre-season. Does he have a realistic chance of playing this year or is he heading out on loan again?

Hard to say. If we don't sign another striker.....I can def see him staying. Gotta consider who he's scoring the goals against too...
