I'd like to see Arsene leave the club.

That sums up today for me.

On a side note it was good to see walcott and ox score goals, of course this probably means we wont sign a goal scorer now.

At the very least, leave the pitch. . . take a front office job already. We all know he won't be leaving the club - but it's time for a new manager. Sad as that is to say, it's the truth. And appreciate the ride, but it's just been too bumpy the last year, or ten.

And why did Walcott take the penalty, and not Alexis or Ramsey? Is it because he was the one who won it? It was good to see him score a minute or two later, though. That probably did his confidence some good.

It was at least a decent penalty. Could've been higher, but it hit it pretty far to his left if I recall.

I was surprised to see Alexis not smashing it home, though.

I'm glad you guys don't play Cazorla more. With his set piece deliveries all match and our poor set piece defending, you probably could've had a couple more goals.

The CB pairing dictated the midfield pairing, but I still wish we could've seen Ramsey back further and Cazorla behind Alexis from the start.

I was kind of expecting Santi to start, didn't expect to see Ramsey starting. Honestly thought Theo would be up top to counter their press, with Iwobi or Ox and Alexis on the wings. Santi in the middle. . .

I'm tired of "hoping" for just a draw on opening day - especially opening at home. Was nice to see the players show some fire and get a couple back (Thanks Ox for the fire-in-the-belly run and finish), but just too little too late.

On a bit of a + note, thought Rob Holding played well - he made less mistakes than Chambers did, and was solid in the air on defense. I'm not totally sold that Chambers even touched the ball on "his" goal.

                  Well, 37 to go.

I don't get it either. You take this stand to rest a bunch of the guys from the Euros yet play one of the most injury prone players you have?

Year after year Arsenal seems completely unaware the season is starting until like 2 days before it starts. "Wait, we're down to our 4th and 5th option at center back?! We don't have a healthy striker?! Why didn't anyone tell us?!" *drop points*

I would be so pissed at Wenger if I was Ramsey and he has a right to IMO. And I agree with Sanchez not being a striker, I never understood why he always like to play players out of position so much I am tired of the same song here.

The whole thing is a joke. The 'transfer policy'. The tactics. The lineup. The 'training regimne'. It's all just one big Charlie Foxtrot IMO. I'm relatively new to the sport (post WC 2014) but even I can tell how LOST it seems we are.

Someone (somewhere on OS) made a great point about how Everton lost Stones and had Williams inked in NO TIME. We lost Mertesacker AND THEN Gabriel, AND were KNOWINGLY going to be without Koscielny (for idiotic reasons--this is his job.......), yet still NOTHING in the way of a (proven) CB.

Not even to mention our style of play NEEDS a tall, strong, etc. striker, but somehow a good idea was to NOT sign one (see: again), and play Sanchez who towers in at 5'7. Good grief man, this really isn't rocket science.....

                            Ramsey out for '1 month'.

                            Sigh...

At least we made a midfield signing in Xhaka. Cazorla will start in place of Ramsey next week with two of Coq, Elneny, or Xhaka behind him.

After that I'm guessing Ozil will be fit and will take back his place with Cazorla dropping back to the bench or going into midfield depending on the opposition.

Speaking of Coq, I'm surprised he wasn't sent off yesterday - he had 3-4 questionable fouls when he was already on a yellow. Is he always a red card waiting to happen like that?
