They need to bring back the yellow and blue for the away kit, which was one of the best since the black and purple one from circa 2012.

This is mostly irrelevant to everything just a ramble of thoughts on Wenger leaving, read at your own risk.

I've said a lot on Wenger over the past few years. Most of it revolves around the fact that while I respect the man a great deal, I think it's time for both club and manager to move on. With Wenger confirming his moving on at the end of the year, I've obviously had a lot of thoughts pop up, some good, some bad. The first thing that pops up is always how grateful I am that we got him as a manager. He was married to this job more than some people want to believe, and more than most people will understand. I also firmly believe that his statement about always doing what he felt was best for the club was 100% spot on, recently though it just seems that his judgment isn't that great. I will always hold in my heart an amount of regret because of how this is ending, you always want a fairy tale ending, but I don't think Arsene's personality would've ever let him go out like Ferguson. Something like winning the title or even the Europa League here would just give him more reasons to continue.

Breaking this up even though there isn't a real break in thought, but I also feel terrible because while I wasn't always the kindest in regards to Wenger, there are those who were far worse, and he didn't deserve some of the things that I've said, nevermind what the worst of Arsenal fans were saying. As much as I wanted this to happen, I'm still in slight disbelief that we're here, and it's actually happening. I wish I could pinpoint what went wrong these past few years as well. Sure our transfer business wasn't adequate, but I always felt that Wenger could extract some of the best from players, and I wonder if some of that has gone away over the years.

Wenger changed the game when he entered, and I fear his exit is mostly because the game changed around him and he didn't learn to adapt. If he went to a new club, I wouldn't be surprised if he found success fairly easily, a change in background, a change in club might actually be best for both involved. I obviously hope he never comes back to the Premier League, I don't think my heart could take Wenger vs Arsenal. I also don't think I could stand the media before the match. It's already kind of ****ed up how much the media want to dig in to this and try to pry open wounds, but that's what they do, so it is what it is. This post is long, and mostly meaningless, but I wanted to say some things and I think I got most of them.

I wish Arsene nothing but the best in the future, and owe him an eternity of gratitude.

I'll miss his press conferences and his slight stammer

I'll miss 4th place

I'll miss the beautiful way in which we'd attack some games

I'll miss watching the neverending fight with the zipper

I'll miss the kicked water bottles

I'll miss the videos of Wenger training with the team

I'll miss #WengerOut popping up in random places

I'll miss the banter

I'll miss being accused of being ungrateful because results aren't up to par

Through all of this, I will miss Arsene Wenger as the manager of Arsenal

I only truly hope that the players are capable of giving him the send off he well and truly deserves for his service to the club

With Mkhitarayan and Elneny injured and PEA ineligible, your bench looks pretty weak. Not many game changers there. Squad depth a must for the next manager I would hope. Good luck tonight!

I think a big issue with him was discussed on Arsecast Extra today—the narrative about him has been set in stone now and no matter what, nothing is going to change it.

When he does play well, and it happens, it's ignored. If he makes one mistake he's labeled as ****, useless, inept, a card gathering machine, etc. Makes a cynical foul? He's a fool! Nobdoy in the squad makes a cynical foul? They're all soft and not gritty enough!

Not saying he doesn't play poorly sometimes, but it's sad that the book has already been written on him. I do honestly think a different manager and different coaching will give him the chance to shine, however.

What you say here doesn't just fit Xhaka's situation in the club. It fits nearly every Arsenal player, with few modifications, every time everything isn't all fine and dandy, and it's been like this for years.
