Thrilled with the signing—I feel like we're quietly on our way to a very solid window.

Jack's statement makes me feel a bit better about him leaving. I admit I'm not as broken up as I should be, I think it's probably in both parties best interests to move on. Emery stating that he might find gametime hard to come by as well as Jack's need for guaranteed first-team football means that both parties should be fairly happy with Wilshere leaving.

Wilshere, Walcott, Gibbs, Ox, Giroud, Cazorla, Podolski, Rosicky, Mertesacker, Kos(possibly) the remains of one of my favorite Arsenal squads(2012-13) are thinning out. Monreal, Ramsey, and Carl Jenkinson are the only ones left from that whole squad.

That Norwich goal will always be my favorite Wilshere moment, followed by the goal vs Chelsea.

Honestly it has been coming for a while for him to leave and he has had more than enough chances thanks to Wenger to cement himself as a important player to the team.

It was weird enough to see Jack on loan, but it was comforting to know he'd be hopefully returning to play. Now that he'll actually be leaving, it's going to be really strange to know he's not an Arsenal player. Never any doubt how much he loves the club and how much he loved playing for the club.

I'll always miss his unquestionable passion and grit. Also, that Norwich goal.

          Oh, god, that Norwich goal.

I love the physicality our defense now has and is hopefully utilized.

In the least surprising move since Wilshere announced he was leaving, Mesut Ozil has taken the #10 shirt.

I dunno how closely you all follow Arsenal socials, but they released photos from training and such yesterday, and I think it's finally set in that Arsene isn't the manager anymore. Seeing multiple pictures of Unai around the training pitch and taking notes, it's a brand new feeling.

For me seeing his press conference as well as seeing him taking around the stadium and training ground was when it really started sinking in, and the excitement grew.

With Germany out of the world cup, I care even less about the tournament and honestly just can not wait for the league to begin. Hell, I'm excited for the Boreham Wood friendly on 7/14.

It would appear as though Lucas Torreira and Matteo Guendouzi are set to go through sometime this week as new Arsenal signings. I know nothing of Torreira outside of what I saw at the World Cup, but I did like most of what I saw. Guendouzi sounds like a typical Arsenal youth signing that will end up getting loaned out a bunch and then eventually leave on a near-free, I do hope I'm wrong about that though.

Lucas Torreira has signed for Arsenal and will take the newly vacant #11 shirt. Hopefully he's better than our last #11

#TimeforTorreira isn't the worst hashtag either.

Either Unai Emery slept in his office prior to taking this picture, or this man is the hero we need for wearing socks and sandals to training.

Agreed. So glad the normal "feet dragging" during the open window hasn't been going on.

It's a WC Summer and we're doing more business than during an "off" summer.

Loving the new regime, and more than cautiously optimistic about the upcoming season...

I'm a realist and optimistic about the new season. Realist in the sense that I do not think we'll make a title challenge, but optimistic in the sense that I think we'll challenge for a Champions League place, and we will not be embarrassed against other big clubs, nor against clubs we should beat but don't feel like showing up on that day.

Basically, I think we'll play far more motivated and be far more prepared than we were the last few seasons, which excites the hell out of me.
