    Leno
    Lichtsteiner/Sokratis/Holding/Xhaka
    Guendouzi/Elneny
    Ramsey/Mkhitaryan/Welbeck
    Auba

    Martinez/Jenko/Mustafi/Torreira/Iwobi/Ozil/Laca

Welcome to this world we live in where Xhaka, one of our best players going forward keeps moving deeper. Unless we have 3 at the back, in which case, I'm honestly even more confused.

We're actually starting him at LB...no...that...no.

I'm assuming we'll be signing at least one defender in January. Get on it, Sven, because...damn.

        Hopefully more than 1.

Need a LB, CB, and eventually will need another RB as I can't see Lichtensteiner being there past another season.

Wonder what the long term plan is for Ainsley. Can't imagine Emery wants a RF LB?

I'm just transposing from text, so it could be something weird like

          Leno
          Lichtsteiner/Sokratis/Holding
          Xhaka/Guendouzi/Elneny/Ramsey
          Mhki/Auba/Welbeck

I can say for the 1st time in 2 years, we're finally rebuilding. There will still be growing pains and struggles, but I feel like our trajectory is going up. The last 2 games have been the best 2 games I've seen us play in a long long time. It feels like the squad is having fun.

I hope we'll finish top 4 this year if we can stay healthy. I'm thrilled Ozil is playing well. He gets a lot of flack, so now I hope people will realize just how good his game is

I'm mostly wondering if there's a plan for Cohen Bramall. It'd be nice to just see what we have in him, if it's nothing we get to move on quickly. We also have Tolaji Bola as a potential future left back, but he might be moved to centreback. Either way, we have options in our youth set-up, games like these aren't bad places to thrown them into the fire.

Honestly, I'm just thrilled to see Bellerin getting a damn rest. Anyone who doesn't think his dip in form last year was tied to exhaustion needs to rethink things. Not only was he starting often, but he was consistently covering the entire right side of the field, defensively and offensively.

                  Strong agree.

I think the rotation this year overall has been fantastic. It's also been nice that we don't give up on players after a little run of bad form. Guendouzi was always going to be displaced by Torreira in the starting lineup, but he's still seeing action.

3-0 with a Welbeck hat trick.

Something else I love about the rotation that was mentioned on the Arsecast Extra this week, there seems to not be a clear split in the squad in terms of the Europa League. The rotations don't make it a clear A and B team—it shows the squad that we're serious about the competition, and also that if you're going to get more minutes in Europa, it doesn't mean it's not important at all as Auba is playing next to you.

I just like that there's not a "Europa squad" and that there's not a weird sense of two teams split. Some of that also might come from Emery's experience with managing around Europa league matches on Thursdays.

It wasn’t the greatest game but it’s the result that matters. We were lucky to finish the game with 11

                              Mustafi. SMH.

I think the midfield lineup is a bit too defensive. Xhaka not awful at LB surprisingly..

                              Just not enough going forward..

Laca had his hand up, but his shirt was also being pulled so it doesn't matter—goal, eat **** moronic commentators.
