We can wait for Adidas to takeover, that's fine too. I just don't see a way that our defense doesn't get shredded by their attack. None of our defenders seem particularly comfortable on the ball, and if they blanket Torreira when we try to play out of the back, they'll commit a ton of mistakes. Aside from every Liverpool player getting blitzed during the pre-game and reducing their attack and defense to a still-drunk-stumble I just don't see a way out for us.

Which is understandable, and I mean that in defense of Emery.
He was given nothing but is attempting to modernize the defense by introducing actual pressing.
Everyone has some fault, but this really shows right before the window just how badly he needs an updated squad.Comment

You’re right.
The long run of not losing built up unfair expectations I think, at least for me.
We need so much help defending it’s not even funny.
Perhaps this drubbing right before the window opens is perfect timing.

If we had played remotely well while we weren't losing I would share that confidence.
We played like trash and got our share of the luck.Support Local Sports

Well we led for significantly more time than I thought we would. That was at least a full minute, right?Support Local Sports

Re: ***The Official Arsenal Gunners" Thread***
So, unsurprisingly we have basically no money to spend in January. I really hope Sven finds some diamonds in the next few years that can shine bright for us before being moved on for insane fees which allows us to reinvest in even more players.
Because that’s our future right now. Finding the players before the big clubs, developing them while they help us succeed, and moving them on.

So, being a (relatively) new supporter (post ‘14 WC), why does this always seem to be the case with us? Never any money. I don’t get it.
Obviously I’m not as connected to other teams, but I never seem to hear these other clubs just “don’t have money”...?
I don’t get it.
