Pepe on for the second half—my goodness, are we going for three points?!

Re: ***The Official Arsenal Gunners" Thread***
This was the start of the run where some were saying we had "winnable" games (Southampton, Norwich, Brighton), where we could turn things around before going into a more difficult stretch in December.
Sounded as ridiculous then as it does now.Comment

Re: ***The Official Arsenal Gunners" Thread***
Wolves, a side who everyone can agree started the season in slightly disappointing fashion are now a point ahead of us.
Leicester City are now eleven points ahead of us. Spurs are level with us, and on Monday night we'll either go below Sheffield United or Man United, regardless of the result, one of them will jump over us.
If Newcastle beat Villa tomorrow, they'll be level on points with us and we'll only be ahead of them on goal difference.Comment

19th in the league, no wins in 7, and at home.
And we play 3 at the back. He’s got to go. Got to go.
Anyway, whatever. I thought most of them were fair today really. I thought the tactics were dreadful, but as far as individual performances, most were at least decent.
Bellerin looked VERY off today. Any news on that, or did anyone notice? Worst player on the pitch IMO.

I just think he needs time, and like others, is most likely entirely fed up with whatever they're supposed to be executing out there.Comment

I'm sure we've all seen this by now, but in case anyone hasn't or a non-supporter sees this—it's a sad illustration of what's happening under Emery.
Do more shots equal a better side? No—but this shows how drastic the change in mentality has been, and our results point to it clearly not working.
As of now, healthy, we have Laca, Auba, Ozil, and Pepe (a winger, the type of player Emery wanted this season) and we're absolutely dreadful and it's all coming from the directionless and passive person in charge of the squad.

Yeah. It’s not even fun to watch. It’s awful football. Absolutely awful. Was watching us yesterday just pass it around at the back, not moving it forward. No drive.
The ONLY positive I saw was Tierney. That boy can put in a cross. My goodness.

I had a long post but I realize it wasn't worth it. One of these mornings I will wake up and care about Arsenal's Senior Men's Team. Today isn't that day, tomorrow ain't looking good either.Support Local Sports

At this point, I would think they only thing they're waiting for is a confirmation of mutual interest by one or more of their preferred candidates.Comment
