Five clean sheets in a row, and a great second-half performance after a poor first-half showing. Will be interesting to see the FA Cup squad this weekend. Will Pepe and Willian get to start?Comment

Shout out to Holding who has looked undroppable especially after a shaky start when he first got in the lineup. Definitely still don't want to see Luiz out there anymore been very fortunate to keep 2 clean sheets with him in the lineup.Comment

In fairness to Holding, it always seemed like he was trying to do the right thing, he just wasn't executing properly. It is good to see him come round and actually start executing correctly. Sometimes those people don't ever turn that corner.Support Local Sports

I’ve always loved his attitude. I can’t recall him...begging for calls? Holding fouls someone and he walks away, waves his hand, yells **** off.
Mustafi, for example, does the pleading gesture with the referee and essentially refuses to admit mistake.
I just love how Rob carries himself out there.
Also, ESR needs to be given a new long-term contract. Soon.Comment

Re: ***The Official Arsenal Gunners" Thread***
I think everyone knew Sokratis would never live up to his 17m price tag, he wasn't meant to move mountains at Arsenal, just to provide some long-needed stability at the back. His performances weren't as bad as many would have you believe, and honestly I felt he admirably filled in at right back, especially for someone who is not known for their athleticism, and provided ****housery not quite to the level of Lichtnsteiner, but good enough I would imagine for most. Felt he was hard done by the club at the end here, hopefully he'll enjoy the final few years of his career in Greece or wherever he chooses to play.
To think that goalline clearance against Crystal Palace was just over a year ago.Support Local Sports

I think ESR will be getting a new deal in the incoming weeks.
However, I do think he is going to need some cover. A short term loan would be the most realistic approach here.
Eriksen, Isco, hell even Denis Suarez. I would be personally shocked if a 10 is purchased, as I firmly believe ESR has cemented himself as first choice 10.

Re: ***The Official Arsenal Gunners" Thread***
Eh, he was paid. While players were not moved out nearly as efficiently as they should be, I'm just happy to see the club slowly evolving out of a place that's incredibly easy to be at.
I'll never forget, and I do not recall what pundit said it, but for years it was very clear that being an Arsenal player was a very easy job. Paid high wages, rarely punished for poor performances, etc.
He was a solid signing at the time, and the criticism Mislintat received for 'just bringing in Dortmund players' was absurd, because what he was doing was signing quick solutions through agents and players he had relationships with.Comment

Can’t get him on loan unless Ceballos is returned...
