I may have been a bit premature based on what happened today but I'm still fairly confident he's staying.

Utterly classless is what it was, and I'm sure the Real fans were delighted at that display.Comment

Re: ***The Official Arsenal "Gunners" Thread***
I'd love for Cesc to end up going to Real whenever he goes back to Spain.
Barcelona has overtaken Liverpool and Spurs as my most hated football club. My coworker is going to Spain in a few months and taking a tour at the Camp Nou, I told him I'd give him my paychecks for a year if he burned the ****ing stadium down. Their players are classless, their organization is classless, the way they've been tapping up Cesc all summer is classless. They are ****ing scumbags.Blind to this impending fate

Re: ***The Official Arsenal "Gunners" Thread***
Their continuous media blitz discussing Cesc's "Barca DNA" and organized attempts to unsettle his position at Arsenal lack respect and therefore are classless.
This was all before the Barca shirt "prank" that was not only disrespectful to Cesc and Arsenal, but even to Barca in a way, as it cast a poor light on the club.Comment

Xavi, Iniesta, Puyol, Pique, and I think Villa have all mentioned Cesc being perfect for Barca in like the past 2 weeks. It's absurd.Blind to this impending fate

Re: ***The Official Arsenal "Gunners" Thread***
Messi and Iniesta have also both commented on signing Cesc. It's gone far beyond just quickly mentioning how you'd love to play with this player, etc. It's been a systematic attempt at unsettling Cesc at Arsenal.
Just because these are great players doesn't mean their actions can still not be condemned. They've all gone above and beyond what is considered prudent, therefore acting disrespectful which in turn leads to acting classless.Comment

Re: ***The Official Arsenal "Gunners" Thread***
The way in which people are excusing Barca's behavior just feeds their ego and allows them to act in the fashion that they currently are. There is a right way to go about signing a player, and they've gone about it the wrong way from the start.
Barca can do wrong, believe it or not.Comment

Nobody is arguing he wouldn't fit in well there, but he also fits in well at Arsenal, where he has four years left on a deal.

Like you said at the end of the day he is ARSENAL's player. He has 4 years left on his contract and you don't want to sell him.Comment

For anyone who hasn't seen it, here's a clip of the Barca shirt being forced on Cesc:
