Well, I'm not expecting us to advance, but anything can happen and I'm hoping I get pleasantly surprised. After all, Chelsea won the whole thing last year and were not supposed to come close.

Will be a great couple of matches. Wenger is usually above parking the bus, so we can actually have some entertainment.

One advantage for Arsenal is that Bayern are either going to have to buy a new centerback or play Martinez in the backline. If Heynckes plays ******* Tymoschuk, then anything is possible.

Looks like the same eleven as Monday.

Is it just me or have we had a crap ton of early kickoffs this season?

Ehhh. It feels about the same as last year. As much as waking up sucks, I love that its on ESPN3.

The booking Jack Wilshere recieved was disgusting. Never a foul, never mind a yellow, in a million years!

Arsenal should be able to put this game to bed now.

It's been ugly, but I'll stake this.

So far we've only conceded eight goals in ten away matches. Nice stat.

Yeah, our offense has been the problem this year, mainly the inability to convert chances. This has all been said many times before, of course, but I'm hoping all the transfer rumors about us getting a striker are true. Because once again, we should have won by more than we did.

I'm just glad Andre Santos wasn't (and hasn't been) near the field. I don't hate the guy, or anything like that, just feel he isn't a good fit for the Gunners.

I thought Gibbs did a decent job today, was caught out a couple times, but Cazorla recovered once for him and T.V. the other. Mertesacker impressed me today as he was solid when needed.

Anyway, like someone mentioned, we'll take the 3 points - and the clean sheet to boot.

I think Walcott showed why he should not play up front. At least not regularly. We really could have benefited from Giroud up front yesterday considering how physical and strong Wigan were playing.

As for our defense, when we don't commit stupid mistakes, we're once again doing pretty well. Its not the best or the prettiest, but we're currently 4th best in goals allowed.

Right, which is why there isn't a top club in the world who will be willing to sign him to play up top. Theo, wherever he goes (hopefully he stays, but that's looking rather unlikely at this point) is going to have to settle for the wing. I don't know if Wenger trying Walcott up top is a last ditch attempt to appease him and get him to sign, but unless Walcott starts providing goals I hope this is a short experiment.

Not that it was ever going to happen, but our chances of signing Huntelaar just went out the door, as he's signed an extension with Schalke to 2015.

I don't think the stories of our interest in him were ever that realistic, unless we actually do intend to spend in January.

Yeah, I believe we are going to win against Newcastle, and thus create a false-positive that we do not need any upgrades. Feels like this happens every year; stubborn old man that Wenger is.

I think its a Villa loan or nothing at this point. I also think there is about a 99.9% chance Walcott leaves. At this point I'm done buying kits. I have about 10 and the only two that are currently on the squad is Arshavin and Wilshere.
