When Tomi is fit, I think White will be on the bench. Saliba has grabbed his spot.

Re: ***The Official Arsenal Gunners" Thread***
Yeah, I honestly think it could just depend on opposition and rotation. Benny was solid, and against physical sides, I want Gabriel in there. Options is nice, and depth is something entirely foreign to Arsenal for many, many years.
Speaking of depth, we still need more up front.
It’s amazing how many Arsenal supporters I see worrying about the playing time of players, who will feel left out, etc. For **** sake, to be a club with serious depth that means you have players who are left out, who are fighting for places.
I honestly think too many Arsenal supporters have lacked seeing depth for so long that they don’t understand it. They think what we have in defense now, or at LB specificity is ‘a problem’ as opposed to ****ing depth.Comment

Tomi played a scheduled 45 for the U21s today (3-1 over United). So this will be a decision sooner than later.
I am thankful to be looking ahead to a selection headache, instead of a lack of a selection, lol.

Other than grabbing it from, you know, other places, you’ll need an Amazon login.Comment

I'll always have love for Hector, but holy ****, if he ends up going without Arsenal receiving a fee, the love will be very small. He's already devalued himself entirely be saying he won't go anywhere but Betis, and he, his agent, and Betis have tried to manufacture his contract being terminated.
It's absolute nonsense. Betis already spent €18m or so this window—they have money.Comment

Apparently they don't as they are now using economic levers to push signings through.I'll always have love for Hector, but holy ****, if he ends up going without Arsenal receiving a fee, the love will be very small. I could see it being a loan?
Either way, if he goes, it means someone steps in who is not much older and ready to contribute now. I'd be all for it, and I say that as we've now seen that it doesn't mean we'll bring in a 29-year-old, it means we'll bring someone in who very much has years ahead of them, but would be further along in their development.Comment

Re: ***The Official Arsenal Gunners" Thread***
Yet some Arsenal supporters are going to be going on about “Will Tierney be happy?! Do we sell him?!” because they completely lack the understanding of depth and that good teams have it. So many people get so focused on “our best eleven” when in reality, it should change based on the opponent and competition—it’s not 1992.
Just a sore spot for me as I can’t listen to Arsenal fan created media without hearing these absurd questions regarding selling players and undoing the depth we’ve created.Comment
