FSC is an amateur production that is losing the EPL anyway. They have shown basically no improvement and I still don't have it in HD. Good riddance.
Fox needs to step it up and go with a 24-hour sports network that they actually put money into. I have no confidence that they got World Cup rights.
FSC is available in HD on Cox at least, think you have your service provider to thank for lack of HD.
Also FSC may not be the best but at least everything is in one place and they have their own news etc.
The article hints that Fox has no intention of having a soccer-only channel after FSC is gone which means following all the games next season is going to be a jumbled mess.
Plus, the FSC guys have grown on me, the only likeable guy at nbc soccer is Kyle Martino.
So, we all know how passionate soccer fans are, my question about the rivalries is, does the rivalry extend to the pitch as well? Meaning, with some of the more passionate rilavries in college athletics, you can tell that the players don't really like one another. You can tell them they have some resentment towards their rival.
But, in pro sports, I feel like the players don't take the rivalries as seriously in most cases. Sure they want to win, but at the end of the day, they don't really dislike the guys on the other team (squabbles between individual players aside, I'm just talking in general.)
What would you guys say the rivalries in the EPL more resemble?
