 Re: MLS Discussion Thread

I'm going to Frisco March 19th to watch FC Dallas play, and they just happen to be playing Montreal that evening. I'm definitely looking forward to watching Drogba play along with what should be two pretty solid clubs.Comment

 Re: MLS Discussion Thread

That won't change if the MLS teams are still in preseason and Mexican League in full swing.. Same argument you hear from European fans when they have preseason games vs MLS teams or the All Star game . Hopefully talent will catch up and might not matter as much when season starts. Hard to also compare the leagues since the difference in how long MLS has been around vs Mexico's pro leagueLast edited by DirectFX; 03-05-2016, 02:26 AM.PSN: DirectFX

 Re: MLS Discussion Thread

I'll take the smash and grab against the Red Bulls but we really need to control more possession or this season will end up like every other season. 37 per cent possession just isn't going to get it done most games.Comment

 Re: MLS Discussion Thread

Agreed. It was also weird how it was a different type of low-possession football than TFC has been guilty of forever. Like, they were actually quite solid and passive rather than just chasing and getting cut open. The backline didn't seem to have any of those typical "exposed" moments.Comment

 Re: MLS Discussion Thread

Red Bulls looking pretty bad . 0 goals so far and gave up 5 in 2 games. Hoping not typical Metro/RedBulls hype season and crash and burn since only really added academy players and no offense help from last years team same exact attack .. Don't get me started on defense with letting Miazga go and having Zizzo play RB without adding any natural rb as backup since it's not his natural position..PSN: DirectFX

Quincy Amarikwa just scored a ridiculous goal for SJ to go up 2-0 on Portland on the last kick of the 1st half.Comment
