Nothing like a good completely undeserved robbery of a win to start the year.

Attack was completely uninspired, the defense was as average as you can be while posting a clean sheet (Sunderland had a lot of chances and either missed the target or had them saved), but Stekelenberg was damn good. Hope he's not seriously hurt.

Swansea looked like they were competing well with United.

Nice way to start the season for Brendan and the boys, they've struggled against Stoke recently and with the way they play it was always going to be a grind. I'll take 1-0 against them all day long.....Next up Aston Villa!
