Lloris had a sloppy play on a ball heading towards the goal line. He misplayed it and conceded a corner. Thought Cardiff had made them pay with a headed goal, but it was disallowed for contact with the keeper. Phew!

Well the Di Canio Experiment didn't last long, not that I'm surprised.

Rofl.
To be honest, I wasn't even including Chelsea. I think Jose will right the ship and we will finish top 4, but I just don't know if anybody will beat City. I can see this season coming down to whoever has the best record vs top 6 sides. Chelsea usually has a very good record vs top 6 opposition(the best last season) but I don't see them getting any points at all from City.
I see a good chance City only drop points one time vs Arsenal, once vs Liverpool and maybe once vs Everton because Goodison.Comment

Re: The 2013-14 EPL Discussion Thread
I can't understand how a manager like Rodgers could get his lineup so wrong. Someone who is so adamant about a "system" should know that without Wisdom & Enrique the team had no width forcing them to break down a defense w/o their most creative player (Coutinho).
Speaking of width, that was the worst defensive shift I've ever seen Valencia put in. He normally offers more cover than all of their wide players but Sunday he was horrible. I think United would have played better with Chicharito up top and Welbeck out wide. I know he's been better in front of goal this year but Welbeck still doesn't look like a guy who can lead the line. Him & Rooney operate well from a movement standpoint but I think a guy like Hernandez, who has excellent movement and timing when it comes to runs, would be able to get "lost" when Rooney & Welbeck are flowing. I know he's safe but Moyes has really failed 2, maybe 2.5 of the major tests out of 4 (Citeh, Leverkusen, Liverpool, and Chelsea at OT).Comment

Since people are jumping the gun on who owns Manchester (please see trophy cabinet for definitive answer)...
According to this article and EA Sports, America is definitely red (or green according to their color code on the map) for Manchester United.Comment
