I'm very excited for NBC's coverage. They do an amazing job with IndyCar and F1.

Gonna be easier to watch games now that there's gonna be so many on NBC.

Hopefully I can pay more attention this year.

My dad is going to look forward to Cardiff being up. I'm going to enjoy saying "Crystal Palace" all year; easily the most exotic name in the PL now

Arsenal with Higuain gives me hope for a legit run at the title.

History Nerd Alert! Crystal Palace is one of the coolest places in England. More than enough reason to root for an underdog soccer team.

Hopefully Zaha actually plays at United. I understand just being at the club to learn from the staff and players is a big deal. But if he's just on the cup match/occasional meaningless CL group stage match squad he would not be getting vital playing time he'd get at Crystal palace.

With the current state of our wingers, Zaha will get some burn. If he proves himself, he can easily displace whoever is at LW/RW as first-choice.

LOL - this is why you can't take a team's name by face value

Crystal Palace F.C. don't play in Hyde Park (where 'The Crystal Palace' was) they play in Croydon, which is a grubby suburb in south London.

Its such a ****hole its own residents tried burning half the place down during the London Riots

In terms of teams being relegated I think it'll be the 3 teams coming up from the Championship - Hull, Cardiff and Crystal Palace - they all play hoofball - which is all well and good to get out of the championship, but they will get caved in every week by premiership opposition. None of them have any quality in their squads

It's hardly far though. You could say Manchester United isn't actually in Manchester, it's in Trafford.

British cities are just plain weird. Manchester is just one whole mess really, Leeds (where I'm from) is a bit "cleaner" but it's still a bit hard to tell where you are, if that makes sense.

Sorry to drift a bit off topic there.

To be fair, the club was originally formed by workers at The Crystal Palace and they originally played on the grounds there before being forced to move.

I can't wait for another season, especially since I don't really follow a team. Every Saturday morning now with NBC Sportst I can get in a good workout, have breakfast, and enjoy good football.

I agree with one of the posters above, for the first time in several years I don't see any of the new boys staying up. The quality just isn't there

Who wants to discuss the elephant in the room? Will Manchester United remain dominant without SAF? Personally I don't think so, I think Ferguson was even better than people realize(and that's saying something) and its going to be obvious right away. Without SAF's presence Manchester United becomes just another big club in England IMO. And for those of you who think it's impossible, look at my club.....
