Eeeee. Only 4 days away from the Community Shield.

Non-EPL note: If you're feeling really ambitious, you can get out of bed at 7:00 Eastern and watch the Hearts-Hibs Edinburgh Derby before it. It's on Fox Soccer Plus.

Well last week they only showed one match. QPR against I forget who they played.

Today they are showing no one. Instead choosing to air a Barca friendly.

So to answer your question, Barca is their favorite League Championship Club

I know in England, Leicester v Leeds is on tomorrow so it might be that they're using the same tv schedule as over here.

I'm sure BeIN would rather show a live match than a replay. It must have something to do with the deal. Aren't Championship matches regional in the UK for the most part?

From what I could tell, BeIn has the same schedule as Sky, so maybe they're carrying their feeds?

I'm pretty sure there's no regional matches at all with soccer in England at least. With Scotland I think it's different though.

I really, really, really wish NBC had a broadband service to watch games on that didn't require you having NBC Sports.

They could have so much of my money if they did something like Fox Soccer 2 Go.

Perhaps next year we'll get something like MLB, NBA and NHL have where it's available on Roku, 360, PS3, etc.

I have wished for the past couple seasons that the Premier League would do something like Mlb.tv or MLS and offer online subscriptions to live and on demand streams of games.

I'd gladly pay the monthly or yearly fee to have access to something like that.

As an American fan of several non-American sports (Formula One, Premier League) I am over the moon about what NBC and NBCSN are doing with their networks. The F1 coverage has been amazing and I just heard the other day that the coverage of the Premier League on NBC will be more extensive than even what fans in the UK get. I am so looking fwd to this season.

Tonight at 7pm (EDT), NBCSN will be showing a couple of Manchester Derby matches from 2011 and 2012 as a part of Premier League Classics.
